Definitely would recommend for your nursery!
Absolutely love this changing station! Being able to weigh my baby at home and put in specifications on the app is so nice! Very sturdy and durable quality! Easy clean!

Takes the worry out of weight gain!
I am a first time mama! Before my little girl was born I was obsessed with preparing for her arrival with the best, most innovative products. Once she was born, I found that some products were unnecessary. But that was not the case with the smart changing table pad! It is truly innovative! The scale connects to an multi-purpose app that is both user-friendly and visually appealing. I love the convenient dual function that it provides as it combines two products in one; Both a diaper changing necessity and health monitoring tool! The size is nice as it will suit her even as she grows and will fit on top of any standard changing table. The scale was so helpful during the early weeks of breastfeeding with my little one. I was able to monitor how much breastmilk she was drinking by weighing her before and after a feed. It is so absolutely relieving to make sure she was getting the food she needs! This is a product that provides what you pay for and will get plenty of use! It is definitely not a product that will sit collecting dust in a closet. If you are a new mama, or the family/friends of one, questioning which baby purchases you will really value, make sure to get this one!Key takeaways:- easy to clean- style, form and function- gets frequent use- user friendly app- easy milk intake monitoring for breastfed babies- product that baby won't grow out of so fast- baby growth charts (fun and relieving)- Helps ease worry between doctor visits- bluetooth connection

Worth it for the concerned, data loving parent
Our baby was born 5lbs full-term so we constantly stress about if he’s gaining weight. With breastfeeding there is no way to know exactly how much he was feeding so we wanted a scale to help guide us. The Hatch has been perfect for this. I can’t speak to how precise it is (I didn’t place a scientifically measured weight on it to see what it said) but I will say based on the weights at the doctors office it’s very good. It is great for consistency... pre- and post- feed weighs and showing over the course of a week or few days the progress the little guy is making. What’s even better is the app. It is necessary to use the scale (there is no screen that shows the weight). But it records the weights, feed time/amounts, diapers, timing and duration of feeds, sleep, pumping schedule, etc. You can enter data manually or hit the start button and have the app record it for you. There is a dashboard that keeps the info readily available so you know when the next feed will be.

Designed to Break Itself and Your Wallet!!!
Worst scale and a total rip-off! The scale broke after a year and a half and since the warranty is only a year they wouldn’t do anything for me except give me 20% off. The “loading cells” are so delicate , evidently moving it to clean can break them. Why advertise it as a changing station when it Is obviously going to take some kind of movement and “downward pressure”. It claimes to have a weight limit of 44 pds. Well I guess don’t put a heavy baby on it or let the baby kick. According to their email to me “Grow is damaged when more than 44lbs of pressure has been applied to the scale which breaks the weighing mechanism.”It claims to be accurate to .25 oz but I rarely got repeatable result and often had to take multiple measurements to even get an idea . It is known that this scale is one of the most inaccurate. This company exploits new parents who want to measure newborn feedings. I completely regret this purchase. If I had had more time and energy to do more research after my baby was born, I would have seen that they are not only one of the most innacurate but have the worst warranty for scales. I am assuming they want parents to repeatedly buy this after it breaks after warranty expires , or expect them to throw it away after a year if they have only one child .There are many scales that are much better. This thing for me now is nothing more than a overpriced changing pad. My advice is to either get the Health-o-meter grow with me which has a 10 YEAR WARRANTY or Hopkins Featherweight Baby Scale which has a 3 year warranty and graduations of .16 oz and is only 40 dollars more than the stupid Hatch grow. Or just take the time to do more research. I’ve heard you can rent professional grade scales and even for around 300 you can buy a professional grade scale. The Hatch grow is not durable and won’t last through multiple children . It didn’t even last through one child for me.No Hatch. I’m not going to use your 20% off to buy your product again. I’m not stupid enough to spend another 100 dollars to replace it when it is obviously just going to break again.

So handy
I purchased this thinking I would be using it to weigh baby before/after breastfeeding. Unfortunately, my breastfeeding journey was cut short due to supply issues. BUT I still use the scale feature all the time. It's really nice to know how much she's weighing, the app is also super handy in keeping track of all sorts of things. It is a little more expensive, but for us totally worth it.I will say the pad is made of some sort of plastic, so it's a hard surface, baby doesn't seem to mind as long as she's not on there for a long time. It's super easy to clean, but we still put a pad down to make cleaning it even easier.
