Bandai Namco PS4 Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown (PS4)

I have played the ace combat Balkan war game on Ps2 and this is the first ace combat game I have played after that but seeing the planes and some of the missions I got to relive the experience I once had while playing the Balkan war on my PS.Good game and a really good story.

A truly wonderful game. This is the closest a non-pilot can get to experience the war machines. I finished this game in normal mode and let me tell you each mission was a challenge. This game is not a walk in the park.I hope more games of this genre are released. More PS4 simulator games would be great too. Looking forward.From delivery perspective the game was delivered on time.

So far it's good but bit overpriced as it is a 11gb game and missions are okay and really fun to play overall it's a good game .

The immersive experience and an inventory filled with the finest modern and legacy fighters makes the overall gameplay simply ineffable.

nice entertaining game...took sometime to figure out what is to be done as never played its earlier versions but once figured out, its an interesting and addictive game ...worth a buy but at the same time too expensive...was available cheaper at other websites...

Fooling customers by such pricing is bad ... Being a prime member I'm greatly disappointed so please do something about the price..

Please reduce the damn price of the game few people will buy it in India because it's not even that popular

For fans, this is the culmination of a 12-year wait and it's a no-brainer. Go get it. The story is insane as always, but welcome back to Strangereal. Those on the fence may read on.If you've never touched an Ace Combat game, then you should know that it is not a flight sim, but an accessible arcade-style game with real-world jet fighters. No fancy peripherals are needed for this one, and the VR isn't really the point of it, as the game is easily controlled with the Dual Shock 4 that came with your system. While you can expect a little realism, part of the fun of the series has always been its loose physics model and impossible loadouts. If you weren't convinced that the game isn't a sim, I'd really like you to point to the real-world fighter that has hardpoints for 60 missiles.AC7, for the most part, is about dogfighting and showering your enemies in a rain of missiles, leaving the skies torn apart by smoke trails. You'll pilot real-world jets that all typically have an assortment of weaponry on board to help you win the war. You'll start in an F4 Phantom and work your way up to advanced platforms like the Raptor. Flight is simplified to thrust, brake, and yaw for your shoulder buttons, and your left stick to control roll and pitch and each fighter has its own characteristics. Some feel heavier and slower, and some feel incredibly nimble. The camera can be smack right in the cockpit or in chase view behind the fighter itself without sacrificing the HUD. For the most part, the jets function exactly as you would expect them to, though some leniency with physics is involved.The story is nonsense, but nobody really gets these games for the story - if you want to hop into some of the coolest aircraft ever invented and blast stuff out of the sky (and a few on the ground, too) without having to read a 200-page manual, AC7 fits the bill. The ultimate endgoal of AC7 is fun over everything else, and it is completely loaded with it. Even someone who knows nothing about jet fighters can still pick this up and have a good time provided they have any interest in dogfighting. There's really not much else to say about it - Ace Combat hasn't really changed its formula (except for Assault Horizon) in decades and it certainly didn't start now. It just looks a heck of a lot prettier now.

I've played all of the AC games and loved every single one of them. AC 7 still doesn't disappoint. There's a lot of crying going on about the bonus content not being provided. With a little bit of effort (I agree no one should have to work for something they paid for) you can have the content sent to you or in some cases (like mine) a new disc sent to you that should also include the content code.As for the game because that's what the reviews should REALLY be about:The cut scenes are really fun to watch and the plot in general feels like a movie. Aircraft detail and flight characteristics are unique. It has both a combination of arcade and simulator feel. On first flight, the game defaults to assistance with controls, that is, the aircraft won't roll and what not. So you can turn that off in the settings and get the full yaw, roll and pitch fully controlled by YOU.Graphics are breathtaking and the level of variety sets a new standard for flying games. I am so glad that AC still continues to be made. IT almost reminds me (if anyone remembers back in the late 90's the Jane's Combat Simulation games, USNF and ATF and all those through the realism and variety of aircraft).Glad to have bought this game, the bonus content to me was just extra so I didn't care if I got it or not, I already beat those games anyway.Haven't tested out the multiplayer yet but I hope to see you all out there in the air!!
