Can't comment on originality (as noted by someone on amazon.com) as this is my first purchase of this product. I use an expensive Saphir conditioner for my other expensive shoes but chose this product for the shoes which i use regularly. Yes! It has a little runny consistency but works fine on my black and tan shoes. Adds a little glossy effect to the shoes after cleaning with Saddle soap and conditioning. Happy so far.
