I bought these long john bottoms to wear as leggings in the winter and they did not disappoint! They are heavy enough to wear as pants, nice enough for town and durable enough for camping and running around the woods. They did pill a bit by spring, but I sure like them.

This is a quality product. Unfortunately you have to wait a long time to get it and the sizing runs small. After waiting a month for the product, I could not wear it. I am a male, 32 waist and 30 length an figured a M would be fine, but it is both too short and too tight. I am sending this back, but I am ordering the large, because I do like the material a lot. So, order one size larger than you normally do.

I ordered these thinking they would be a bit lighter as they are primarily made of silk. Instead, they are actually quite thick and heavy. I am sure they are extremely good at insulation, but I doubt these are something you'd want to wear indoors for more than 15 minutes. More of a day spent in really cold weather outside type of gear. Also think it would be difficult to wear these under anything but really loose pants.I am 6'3" (205 lbs) with a 36" inseam and ordered the XL. They are a bit too long for me, I had to roll the ankle cuffs back up to keep them from bunching up along my leg.Lastly, these ship from China, so expect a long wait before arrival.Overall these are really warm and thick and comfortable and for the price are a good deal. But they are not meant for wearing to work on a really cold day unless you spend your day outside.

These thick wool/silk mix thermals are perfect for keeping warm if you're going outside during the depths of winter. They are well cut with a high waistband and are plenty long enough for me. ( I have a 33 inch waist and 33 inch inside leg, I bought a medium). They are beautifully made and look like they'll last for a good few years. Also, as they are not synthetic like some cheaper ones they don't have that annoying static crackle when you take them off. I highly recommend them, well worth paying a little extra for. You soon forget the price and you'll be warm and comfortable for years!

for winter in Canada. It was thicker than I expected , so will work in Jan and Feb.

Comfortable but not as nice to wear as pure silk. Otherwise good quality!
