Your boys will go nuts for these shorts. They are very thin but not see through material. Do not iron or dry! Just hang them up and they will be dry in 30 minutes or less. They wash up like new. These are especially nice for those who live in hotter climates such as Florida. The boys love all the pockets. Order by waist size. They are a loose fit. My boys are slim, not skinny. They wear medium and large but in these sizes I ordered a 10 and a 14 and they fit perfect. The waist is also adjustable. These shorts also go nice with the slinky material t-shirts such as Under Armour or Nike. Order more than one because your son will want to wear these everyday.

These shorts are high quality and I ordered size 10 husky for my tall 8 year old who usually wears a 10. I figured I'd try the husky to give him room to grow, but they're bigger than the 12's I bought for my 10 year old. Luckily the 12's fit my 8 year old and the 10 husky works for my 10 year old who can fit into a 12 regular. Just swapped them and they're happy. Overall, if your 8 year old normally goes with 10, get the 10 regular or 12 regular.

These shorts are definitely not stylish, but they served their purpose well as a quick dry shorts with a zippered pocket to wear while visiting Busch Gardens. My boys both liked them, and thought they were comfortable, but print in person is pretty cheap looking.They fit loosely, so if in between sizes, or if you prefer a more tailored look, try one size down.The zippered pocket comfortably fit an iphone 7 and a small card case.

These are great shorts! They look great and are great if you have cats. The cat hair won’t stick . I brought my son a black one and our cats hairs don’t stick! I usually don’t let him wear black shorts/ pants in the house bc of the cats.They look very nice and have adjustable straps inside. So you probably can get away with ordering a size bigger so they can last longer. I just wish they were cheaper because I would by most of them. But depending on size they can get pricey. My son is growing like weed so I do not want to spend a lot on a pair he would soon outgrow of.

These would be nice shirts & the adjustable elastic in the waist is very helpful for my skinny boy, but the company puts so many tags in terrible places on these shirts & becasue is the type of fabric, they leave behind all kinds of holes! 4 holes on the very front next to the zipper. And 4 holes on the front seam of one of the legs. This is extremely disappointing. The holes are really noticeable and not good for the fabric either.

I liked the feel of the material. When I got them in the mail I immediately made my son try them on. He is picky, stocky build, tall for his age and 10 years old so it tough to find something that fits him well and looks nice. The 14H was right on the money for his build and height. They have inside buttons to tighten to the waist. He tried them on and said they were his new favorite. I have to force him to wear something else while I wash them. He just likes them so much! They look nice because of the pattern but the shorts feel like upscale swimming trunks. Think Columbia brand pants and you will know these are great for August summers in Florida.

Ordered up for son who usually wears a 12, the 14’s fit great. He wanted some quick dry for is scout camps and hiking trips. I was nervous to purchase online without him trying them on, but I am super grateful for all the reviewers who helped make it clear what size to get. It’s much too cold to wear shorts outside, but my son has worn them indoors already and says that they “are awesome.” Thank you very much!

Love these shorts. I bought these for my son for summer mountain biking and camping. I was looking for long shorts that wouldn't ride up and had plenty of zipper pockets for him to carry energy gel, trail maps, etc. I purchased several colors and am happy I did. He wore them all summer for all sorts of activities - they are great for the outdoors but also look nice with a collared shirt. My son is tall with long legs and very slender. I used the adjustable waistband to cinch them a bit. Love the fit. I will purchase more again next summer.
