Great for teaching object permanence
Our baby just turned 8 months, so we were fully aware this may not be for his age yet. But he loves to make noise by banging things, so my husband thought he'd love this. Surprisingly, he hasn't taken an interest on the hammer yet as he can't really use it well. It's difficult for him to put the balls in the holes with just his hands. So we decided to take out the rings from the holes and found out this becomes a great object permanence box! He was able to master it quickly and is entertained for long stretches of time. Later we can put the circles back in and add the hammer, so this toy will actually last for a long time. Quite happy with it!

Not junk...great quality
For the price, I wasn't sure that the product I'd get would be solid. I am very happy with this. Toddlers drag it around, drop it, smack it, etc and not a splinter or crack. Balls are hard wood and can be dangerous if thrown, but that's what I wanted...good quality. Now if only I could order replacement balls for the 2 my dog chewed...

Great toy!
My husband didn’t like the hammer part! So we removed the plastic rings and now our daughter just drops the balls in! But she loves doing that and hopefully as she gets older we can go back to hammering it : ) lol! She’s 14 months.

Seems to be well constructed/heavy duty.
Our little guy really enjoys hammering the ball's down. The toy seems to be fairly well constructed, and aside from a few expected dents, he hasn't been able to hurt it. The paint is holding up surprisingly well too.

Not bad
This was a great toy however it was really hard to hit the balls through. My 1 year old lost interest bc it was too hard.

Perfect for babies and toddlers
We got this for my one year old sons birthday. He loved it! At first I thought it would be too tough for him to hit the balls through, but he figured it out in almost a day. Even my four year old loves it!

Colorful and sturdy toy.
The toy is just as described. My granddaughter is only 16 months old, so she can’t hammer the balls through yet, but she will when she’s older. She still had fun playing with it.
