DeltaFaucet RP64157SS Handshower Hose, Stainless

I bought this to replace the hose from my Delta showerhead that finally wore out. It is essentially the same hose that came with my shower head  Delta Faucet 75520RB Five-Spray Hand Shower, Venetian Bronze , however it is about 8-12 inches shorter. It is made of a plastic type material wrapped around an inner rubber hose, just like the original. It doesn't have the longer tip on one end, like the original does.....both tips are the same. It fits fine in the original holder, but maybe a tad bit looser.My original hose lasted several years, which I think is appropriate for a non-metallic hose.The only problem is that the description of this hose is incorrect, i.e. the dimensions are listed as being .01-inch in length. This hose is obviously longer than that.....approximately 60-64 inches. I didn't measure it, but like I said above, it's shorter than the original, which is listed at 72-inches. The length is not a problem for me or my wife and it is long enough to wash the dog.Buy with confidence.

Love the new coating on this one. We are replacing the original one that ended up splitting fairly quickly. This new hose is coated differently and is much better quality. Delta never disappoints!!

If you are ordering Venetian Bronze - the attachment points are Venitian Bronze, and the hose is literally shiny black plastic. I called Delta and they suggested that I purchase U495D-RB60-PK Stretchable Metal Hose. Or you can get the description name -- all-metal shower hose attachment for shower head - oil rubbed bronze - shower hose extra long 72" handheld shower hose -- for a 1/3 the price and it EXACTLY the same hose. I ordered them both and could not tell them apart!

I was reluctant to buy this hand-shower hose because some of the other purchasers had indicated in their reviews that this wasn't the same as the original hose--that it was made of a stiffer plastic material than the Delta hose they'd grown attached to.I looked around online, and saw similar reviews on Delta's website, too.After hours of intrepid investigation, I came to the conclusion that perhaps Delta has changed their supplier (I mean, who really makes their own products anymore? We live in a world where everyone cuts deals to keep costs as low as possible, but then, you really don't know who makes the stuff you're buying and you don't know if the "manufacturer" really gives a rip about the quality of the stuff they're selling you).In summary, the reviews were inconclusive.Seeing that I could choose between sitting on my hands while waiting for the utopian hand-shower hose to mystically arrive at my doorstep and meanwhile taping off my existing leaky hose as a keep-out zone for prospective hand-shower patrons OR taking the monumental risk of purchasing said hand-shower hose, thus rolling the dice with any number of unfavorable outcomes, I opted for the latter. I mean, you only live once.How did it turn out, you ask? Well, it's every bit the stiff plasticky hose the naysayers had warned of (with it's war-of-the-worlds-basement-probe outer shell, of course), and much to my consternation, it curled up like a decapitated snake in my shower. But darned if some weeks or months later, it isn't hanging there like a proper hand-shower hose should. Gravity doth do wonders in the realm of flex-hose.What's the long-term viability of this hand-shower hose? Hard to say. This hose resides in a guest bathroom. I'll be sure to ask our guests in their exit survey, how was their showering experience, and in particular, did they feel any displeasure or indeed, great showering satisfaction attributable to the hand-shower hose. This will truly be the news we're all waiting for, and I shall keep you posted.

Purchased to replace broken hose coupling. Matched perfectly thanks to coaching from Delta customer service and installed in minutes.A little pricey but good to purchase OEM part from manufacturer.

Exact match to the hose I had to replace, but far less expensive than buying directly from Delta!

This is not metal clad so it won't last long. It is a harder plastic and does not completely uncoil.

It fits and works well. But the hose is black which is not what I was expecting and it is very stiff.

Suitable replacement. It is alot stiffer than the original. I thought it might work itself in but so far it hasn't.

The hose is made from stiff plastic with metal ends. Not very flexible. Seems pretty pricey for what you get.
