The Stop Shop15 Ft Roll of 3/16" (.028" Wall) Copper/Cupronickel Brake Line Tubing with fittings & union

I bought this line to replace some other crappy line I bought. This line flared perfect on the first try! Do yourself a favor and start with this brake line if you don't want to struggle with wrinkle you get when you try to flair another brand.The first picture is the stop shop's brake line, and the second is another brand that I bought on Amazon. As you can see the other brand had a wrinkles and 9/10 would absolutely not flare right.

The rear brake line broke on my 2005 F150 FX4. The line going from the left or right side to the center was unavailable. I purchased this and a flairing tool. I am glad I did. The copper alloy tubing is good quality and does everything they say it does. I was able to custom bend it with my hands. I did 2 practice flairs and went to work. I had a new brake line installed in less than an hour. I have enough left over to make an additional line if needed. After this I won't be using compression fittings again. These are quick and better holding than any compression line.Bottom line, if you need to replace your brake lines purchase this kit, you won't regret it!

This kit comes with different fittings and very flexible tubing. I used it to make brake lines for my 2000 Bonneville and my 1995 Chevy K1500. The tubing is very flexible and didn't kink even with 180 degree + bends .

Could not have been better. Rustproof, Durable, easy to form into any bend. Better than I expected in every way.

We had trouble getting usable flares using a professional, die-based flare tool on copper nickel line from another Amazon supplier. The exact reason is unknown but almost 100% were kinked or misshapen and unusable. Found other customers experiencing the same problem.Ordered a roll with fittings from The Stop Shop and the next 17+ flares on our project were perfect. Easy to form but not too soft. Lesson learned.

I originally bought "25 ft 3/16 in Copper-Nickel Coil Brake Line Complete Replacement Brake or Fuel Tubing Kit". It was NOT Cu-Ni, but steel with a thin copper plating which corroded badly in five months (pix) and had to be replaced. THIS however is the real Cu-Ni, easy to bend and flare, and will last! The accessories are even labelled with sizes described and the tubing is capped to prevent dirt getting in. STRONGLY recommend.

Wish I bought two kits because now they have skyrocketted in price. All it is is nickel coated copper line which is hydraulic line. I wouldnt hesitate to find 4000psi burst rated 3/16 inch copper nickel line for the original price.The fittings are great. Remember to buy some loctite or permatex high strength thread sealant (not teflon tape) to go with it. Automotive brakes are very high pressure, a lot more than teflon tape can hold.Copper line is such a breeze to bend and route. This kit could benefit from having a bag of line covers/condoms for when you route a line with undercoat on the undercarriag.

I used this to build the brake system on my street rod. Good quality tube and fittings.

Haven’t installed the line and fittings yet. Looks to be decent quality and the price was good on the complete kit
