It's easy to work with and sticks very well. I'm using it for sealing the edges of butyl rubber sound deadening in a van project. The edges of the material get messy and sticky unless you cover them with something. This foil tape works great for exactly that. Though it is very thin, and can tear easily by hand, once it's stuck down it seems durable enough to do the job. I'm buying more rolls for a bigger sound deadening job now.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tape and its adhesion. I needed to seal a gap between a radiator and floor and I realize this might not be what this product is designed for but it worked! It even adhered to an uneven wooden floor and stayed stuck. I can now relax and not worry about bugs getting in and not feel the constant draft coming in, especially when the heat is off.If you live in a rental and are limited by what you can change in the apartment, or don't feel like asking the landlord to fix it and dedicate an entire day to that, then this is the perfect solution for minor repairs around your house. I didn't notice any sticky residue on the surface when removing the tape and it can be re-positioned.My only tip is to be careful when handling cutting it as it might slightly cut your skin if not careful.

I bought this to seal the seems in the sound-deadening mats I installed in my classic car (68 Coronet). The adhesion is very good - despite what one of the reviewers said (he must've tried to stick it to ice cubes) Oh, here's a tip: to double your coverage, cut the tape in half lengthwise. I'm a genius eh! This is a very good product at a very good price. Will buy again if I run out.

Overall, this product works pretty well and I would definitely recommend based on price alone.The only drawback, as some of the other reviewers mentioned, is this tape is not strong and may not keep your items taped down.I bought this tape to adhere a heat pad to my reptiles’ tanks. So far, it works well, but even after the first day I noticed some small tears in the tape. I will keep using it for my reptile tanks, but I wouldn’t trust it for household repairs.I would not buy this product if the materials you need to tape will put pressure on the tape. But if you’re taping “lighter” materials this tape is a good value and definitely gets the job done :)

I liked the ease of use and the strength of the tape.

I got this to put on the lid to my snake terrarium. It adheres VERY well, much better than I was expecting for sure. My temperatures are already starting to stabilize and the humidity level is staying where I need at as well. Great price also. I ordered two rolls but ended up only needing one. All is good.

like this product , but somehow assumed a considerably larger amount of tape...definitely not a bargain...my bad again...

I purchased this to install an inline duct fan to vent my bathroom. The small roll was perfect size. The tape wasn't irritating to get off the roll. I also didn't have to buy a million feet to do a project that required a small amount. Great value for the money.
