This has become my go to protein shake. I love the taste and the protein is very filling. It’s convenient to just put one in my bag and take it to work for a snack as well.

My partner and I really enjoy this product! It's smoothe and just the right amount of sweet and vanilla😊If I don't finish it cold I pour the remainder into my coffee!

I have tried a lot of vegan shakes. This one is very good. It’s creamy, and has a nice vanilla taste to it. The texture and flavor are both what made me leave a 5 star review. As well as the nutrition value. I hope that the Ensure brand does well with this vegan version. I have not yet seen it placed in grocery stores. Hopefully it will gain some traction, and become a popular alternative to the regular dairy Ensure.

I am not vegan, but searching for high protein drink with no artificial sweeteners. This product scores + in this category. It has a slightly thinner consistency than Ensure Max Protein. It contains chicory root fiber which must be the reason for the smoky, burned flavor. I did not like at first, but can tolerate if very cold. Be aware, I was not, when looking for products without artificial sweeteners to look for sucralose AND acesulfate potassium, if these ingredients are an issue for you. The outside cardboard packaging is difficult for elderly, frail, arthritic persons to open. The individual containers are ok for me to open. I will reorder because so difficult to find high protein nutrition drinks without artificial sweeteners. I find the taste of the vanilla only tolerable. It does not provide any additional energy that I have noticed but i am drinking for protein and vitamin and mineral content.

We use these as a occasional lunch replacement or instead of a snack. They taste great(just chocolate so far) and they don't raise our sugars much(well under if we had a meal).Price was another benefit option of Amazon.

I prefer the plant based ensure. I can't have dairy and I enjoy the flavor. This is a good source of protien.

In early 2023 Ensure Plant-Based Vanilla is finally back on Amazon but at a price slightly more than what I was paying in summer 2021. It's regrettable the manufacturer--Abbott Labs?--cannot make the product more affordable and readily available to the general public. It's disappeared from the shelves of Walgreen's (supply-chain issues?), so I'm grateful to find it once again on Amazon. The taste beats that of other plant-based drinks, especially the vanilla flavor, which is a welcome change from chocolate--morning, noon, and night. My original review (below) will remain. But currently I'm seeing no subscription provision for Ensure Vanilla Vegan. Warning: Occasionally, I've noticed slippage in quality. My last 2 boxes were coagulated, or "curdled," and I could not bring myself to eat the goopy contents with a spoon. (I'm sure Amazon will issue a refund if you choose to pursue it. In the absence of Ensure Vanilla I've been tempted to try, as a substitute, a glass of Kina Lillet--the aperitif that starts the morning motor of Daniel Craig's James Bond).Previous 5-star review: I simply told my friend to bring back something from Walgreen's, and this one was on sale. I was surprised that I found the taste so "non-objectionable." Since then I've found practically every other brand, regardless of flavor, unpalatable--whether sourced from dairy or plant-based. Ensure Plant-Based Vanilla is the only one that seems "right" every day. I limit myself to one per diem, so I can't "afford" to use cheaper brands that simply won't go down. Chocolate flavors, even by Ensure, have become all too boring--and too sweet. Plant-based vanilla may cost more--but for good reason!
