Congratulations. If you are here you must understand the mechanics of bi-fold doors. And you are about to save a couple of hundred dollars on a new door. Over a decade ago, I had a handyman who just switched the position of the doors when the bottom failed on one. Today thanks to online videos, the right tools, and female empowerment, at 50+, I'm doing repairs like this myself. It was an easy repair. The width of the door and the location of the existing hole weren't factors. These attach to the corners on the back of the door. Hopefully, this extends the life of the doors for more decades.None of the national hardware stores in the area had these in stock. Ordered them early yesterday morning and received them yesterday afternoon. Installed them last night. A great way to end international women's day.

I repaired 10 bifold doors in our house the hard way - by replacing the soft compressed wood bottom framing member with hardwood and drilling pin holes in the new piece. There was only one door in the house left to fix, when I discovered these handy little gems. Works great. Easy to install. Love it. But I still hate bifold doors with a passion.

Easily and soundly fixed the badly broken bottom corner/pivot of our bifold door. Slightly relocated the location for the pivot pin which was a good thing. Installed and drilled out the new hole for the pivot. Easy peasy and Robert is you father's brother.
