Athllete Jiu Jitsu GI Suitable for BJJ/Jiujitsu/Judo/Brazilian BJJ, with Preshrunk Fabric for Men & Women

Im 6'5 and have a football player build. Its hard for me to find a good fitting A6 gi. I tried many even ones that cost hundreds of dollars looking for a perfect and none could fit me. Until i got my hands on the Athllete Gi. I was skeptical because how cheap it was and that it was just another gi ill end up trying on then returning. Nope! I found my gi! its comfortable and durable! Great for rolling! I need all colors now!

Absolutely awesome Gi. I bought this as my second Gi. I was absolutely shocked when I got it. The size is perfect, and the thickness is suitable for Jujitsu or Judo. The elastic tie on the pants is absolutely perfect for training. Good amount of give and take for adjustability. I will be purchasing another one shortly. THANK YOU!

This a a nice sturdy gi that feels good to roll in and is priced low. The description does not say pre shrunk and that will become a factor as the gi will gradually shrink over time. My first one was an A2 and fit nicely and looked great in blue. Over a year and a half of wear and washing it began to fade as expected, but really shrunk. It hasnt torn or worn out yet, so I still want to wear it, but its so small now... I just purchased an A3 and that fit like a loose karate gi at first on me. Im a muscular 5'9.5 at 175. I gave it a warm wash and a trip in the in the dryer on low heat and it fit perfext afterwards. Cold wash and hang dry people. Maybe my wife washed the first one in wrm water before because I dont know why it shrunk so much? Maybe from hanging in the sun?

It is summer time almost. Extremely hot when I'm rolling. I need to wash my Gi after every workout. This isn't the problem all JiuJitsu Gis are thick and hot. My other Gi is the same way. However, I can wash and toss my old Gi into the dryer. Not this one. I have to hang the pants up to dry. The label in the top says tumble dry on low, thank goodness I check the pants labels before I put them in the dryer. It says do not tumble dry, will experience extreme shrinkage.

This is a very tough GI, thick collar is great for when you got a big guy hanging on you. I personally like that it has no avertisements or labeling like other brands sewed on everywhere. All the stitchinging is super reinforced, I can't see anything ripping very easy. I highly recommend this GI to anyone, but be sure to use the sizing chart.

The Gi itself is serviceable, especially for the price. However, there are 2 problems.1. The uniform is way too big for an A2. Even after a run through the washer and dryer. It still fits but who exactly is coming up with these absurd measurements?2. The gi pants came with the much-needed drawstring on completely backwards. I dont know if im just lucky or of this happens normally. Now I have to go through the annoying process of trying to get it through the holes (lol) because somehow these guys cant make their pants correctly.

I'm very happy with this purchase. I am 5'6" @ 180 lbs and ordered an A2 size. It was slightly large but after the first wash and dry, there was some slight shrinkage and it fits me perfectly. Now when I wash it, I let it air dry. Also, the belt was easier to tie after a couple washes. The quality is comparable to the ones they sell at my gym for twice the price so I'm very happy that I took a chance and ordered online. As far as shipping, I received it on time and it was well packaged.

Good for the price! Great starter for our son. I like that belt was included. Dont dry it tho!
