I actually really like the look of these shorts but they were low quality and a bit tight around the waist. I would buy them again if the waist was more comfortable. I bought extra large like usual but still too tight. I don't care for the scrunchy material around my waist.I'm a bit picky with how things fit on my stomach.

The media could not be loaded.  I got these because I had wanted holographic shorts, but it's really hard to find such things that don't peel & fit & are anything more than a temporary costume. So I thought these would be a good compromise, almost same colors, and I liked the plaid grids too. The rainbow is much more vivid & saturated than expected. Though I wasn't too surprised, other reviewers said as much, I just kinda thought they expected even less saturation.I would say I love this purchase, but they're a little too tight. I don't regret the purchase, only because I love the pattern, but it's not very comfy to me. While I do prefer a little slack, my issue isn't the form fit. It's the compression. I have sensory prepossessing issues, so I don't like much of any above the knee (I love a lot below the knee). These aren't unbearable or really painful, so I can still wear them, but it is indeed right on that border. I can feel a ;little pain front of the waist line when first putting them oneach time sometimes. It tends to fade after a while but still feels too tight. They're uncomfortable enough that I often opt not to choose them. They might be better if I lost some weight or if they had come in a bigger size. I kinds expected sissycos might be this way, I just had a feeling. Though I was worried it would be worse. I wanted to take a chance to see what the brand was like. But yeah, I'd be hesitant to buy this brand again unless I could get 2 sizes up from this.The last pictures are my measurements (green shorts not from this listing, they're from a dollar store). The widest part of my hips are about 48inches sitting, and about 46inches standing (if you don't know, some fat hangs when standing but squishes over the sides when sitting). I don't wear pants over my stomach, so I measure waist below my stomach, which is about 43inches.

The longer length is perfect! Very comfortable, great color selection, great price.

Cute colors, haven’t worn yet but looks like just what I wanted in size and color

The good:1) Very soft.2) Awesome colorways.3) Stretchy and sort-of squat-proof.4) Though not advertised as athletic shorts, I find them comfortable to run in.The bad:1) Weird size options. I typically wear a L or XL, and while the smaller size does fit me, so does the larger one. If you’re in between sizes like me, I’d recommend getting the larger. I don’t have a lot of butt or hip, so anyone more shapely than me might not be comfortable in the smaller.2) Needs a version with pockets.3) Elastic is narrow and can be constrictive especially if you are in between the sizes and got the smaller.I really love the color and pattern options for these shorts. I love wearing outrageous shorts when I run, and these totally meet that need. I don’t expect them to be durable, but maybe I’ll get adequate use for the price.
