Only sharpen with hand sharpeners
I used these before I put them out for my students. They blend well-but dull quickly. When you open the box, there are TONS of hand sharpeners. KEEP THEM. These pencils do not sharpen in my electric sharpener. They need a hand sharpener or they will become nubs before they sharpen.

The OCD dream!
I love this box! Each pencil has its own place and my unorganized, sleepy high school students all manage to put each color in its proper location. What a dream! The colors are high quality, and plenty of sharpeners are provided!

Great class set
I ordered this so I could have a set of colored pencils on hand and not have to continually borrow from my coworkers. Love the variety of colors and that the set comes with a handful of sharpeners. My class sharpener does tear these up though so I'd recommend caution when you need these sharpened.

Love the packaging and the organization of the pencils. The hand held sharpeners will hopfully save my regular pencil sharpener from being ruined.

Good as a classroom set....
I bought them for my classroom. They were a good price, you get a lot and they work. FYI: None of the cheap colored pencils are blending-friendly. (And I have tried many different brands in my classroom including Crayola, Blick, etc.) The core is too hard. It's not impossible to blend, just more difficult. So if need colored pencils that behave like Prismacolor, you're gonna have to buy professional grade pencils. Not these.
