Just what need for pond.

Out of all the products I've tried, this is the only truly safe for all life pond clarifier that works fast. It'll clear the worst floating algae bloom without killing your snails, clams, shrimp, crawfish, or anything else you might have living in your pond.I spent a long time and lost a lot of expensive big snails trying other solutions in the past, this flocculant is aluminum based and far less toxic than copper algaecide alternatives.I combine this treatment with Nitrate lowering bacteria and barley extract to keep my water clean. Without other treatments to lower the free nutrients and hinder algae growth this product wont keep water clear for long, but it definitely does a great job handling green, cloudy water SAFELY.My pond contains snails, scuds, plants, koi, mosquito fish, goldfish, and the odd frog here and there. None are harmed by this product when dosed correctly.

My Ponds water Clarity is still taking some time after a few days. But it definitely did kill my goldfish in the pond after 1 day of being added to the water. The Algea bloom this spring got me frustrated the pond turned green so fast… I will look into more natural remedies moving forward.

I was thrilled with this. It cleared the pond up after three days. I purchased another gallon a couple months later and it has not yet showed any progress yet.

I had an algae bloom in my fish pond during the summer. I tried a number of treatments that were no where near as goos as RapidClear. As it says, it is safe for the fish and it attaches to the algae, then sinks to the bottom. The rest is crystal clear water. A shop vac or filter can get it what's on the bottom. No fish fatalities. Another thing did was to include some limestone in my water feature. Limestone is a simple, natural, way to filter the water.

The media could not be loaded. I was tired of not being able to see my fish after weeks of heavy rain then extremely sunny Days. My water was a dark green and I added beneficial bacteria , I did water changes often and I’m a responsible koi keeper so I was testing my water parameters . The water test were good but I still couldn’t see my loves. So I read the reviews and watched some YouTube videos before trying this product. Because I’m very careful when adding anything to my pond I don’t want to mess up my ecosystem and bother my fish. I increased the oxygen in the pond first, took a bucket of the ugly green water from the pond and mixed the right amount for my pond size of rapiclear in with the water and slowly added it to my pond to make sure my koi were okay with the product. They didn’t like it much at first , I think it may have irritated them a bit. They got over that fast and the first day I really didn’t notice a difference. But by day 3 I could see my babies and everyday since it seems to get a bit clearer. I would definitely recommend this but I would also advise to follow the instructions and increase your oxygen. On the product it states to use as directed. There is only one problem they don't tell you how to use it. I just winged it & put it in the pond. It did clear the muddy water up some what after a few days not a few hours. I'm sure I did not have the proper amount for the gallons of water in my pond but since I did not have a clue how to come up with that figure I was hoping a gallon would do it. WRONG!! You take the length times the width times the depth divided 7.50 to come up with gallons. I found this on the bottle after I received it. It would have been nice to find that in the product description or on the manufactures web site. The web site did have one piece on information with I just loved it stated that after the water clears you can vacuum the bottom. I bought 80 lbs. of gypsum mixed with water in a bucket until it dissolved and added that to the pond keeping the water moving with my hose. That did the job. Oh by the way I have no plans of vacuuming the bottom of my pond.

We have been Koi enthusiasts for 17 years. As anyone knows, there are so many challenges and clear water is one of them. We have used a multitude of prices which have been effective (Algae D, Algae Fix, Microlift, Barley bales and powder packets) plus we have numerous pond plants to eat up the algae. The performance of Rapid Clear is superior to anything else we tried! Our pond which is 6000 gallons went from murky and cloudy to clear all the way u to I the bottom. Any ecosystem will have residue and infiltrates but this product is the best! Fairly economical and safe if used properly! Highly recommend!!!
