Did the trick
Thin piece of plastic but did the trick.My red dot would not sight in. Maxed out elevation and still could not get on paper.Installed this shim and I'm almost to max elevation again but I'm finally grouping on target.

Needed modification to fit
The holes didn’t line up correctly and it was a bit longer than it needs to be. I bored out the two screw holes and tabs with a heated rod then sanded the length off and it worked.

It works perfect
My second vortex venom, no issue with first one been shooting it for 2 years, got second one could not get dot to raise up enough, maxed out.Ordered this item. Very easy to install. Fixed the issue completely. Thank you.

Elevation I needed
The ade optics shim added just the right amount of elevation I needed for my venom red dot. The screw holes lined up tight and I did what it’s supposed to. The only gripes I have about it are the price for a sliver of plastic with holes in it and that it’s made from plastic instead of polymer or aluminum but it works!

holes are not alligned and must be re-drilled or cut out to match the vortex venom red dot.

needed for Beretta APX A1 with CT green dot
So the CT green dot didn't have enough elevation adjustment when mounted with the plate I ordered from Beretta. This has a slight angle so provided enough elevation to site in the green dot. No help from CT though.
