The Curious Nature Guide: Explore the Natural Wonders All Around You

This book is a treasure! We are a nature loving family. This book is enjoyed by all ages, including our three year old. We took the book with us today on a hike and were inspired by our mushroom findings and this book to paint outdoors. I’ve included a pic of my 4 and 3 year old boys here. It’s well written, thoughtful, encourages creativity and connectedness with nature.

A beautiful nature book. Using it as a homeschool science resource.

The publishing house should print the book somewhere else; I've just bought the book and its body has already fallen apart. The content is lovely but the product can not be given as a gift to the girl I bought it for... I love nature and I myself am an author and illustrator so I wanted to be careful with this review. However, it's a disappointing experience.

Loved all of the prompts in this book. Looking forward to rereading the book and trying more out. At first I thought it wasn't as good as the other nature journal this author wrote but this book was wonderful too.

Love it! We checked it out from the library, but knew we wanted our own! It’s just a quick bite of nature focus! We read one or two pages at night as a family, very beautiful, insightful, and informative. We have used it in conjunction with nature journaling too.

Bought this to use in the current rock painting phase. Great pictures and illustrations. I used some as inspiration for my "great and small" series in the Suffolk Rocks activity.

Bueatiful drawings and brief sections of writing...it was recommend for use to inspire a homeschool nature journal.

I just got this book today and immediately took it with me to my back yard with a pen and a towel to lay on. It's beautiful and engaging, making me really stop and open up my senses to the nuances of nature. I actually assumed that this book would include blank spaces for you to follow the prompts and take notes/make sketches but it doesn't bother me at all, there's plenty of room in the margins to get creative! I know I'm going to treasure this lovely book for a long time, and I definitely want to recommend it to all my friends!

The content of this book is really appealing, a simple condensation of CLW’s work over the years.Sadly what let’s down an otherwise high quality item is the fact the cover is merely glued to the text and came off. What with Covid I can’t bdd Ed bothered returning it. Hence the one star. If the book had remained intact it would have been five.

Really wanted this book and not disappointed at all. Gorgeous illustrations and photographs, encourages exploration in nature. Great for inspiring journal work or as an exploration manual to approach the country side in a different way.

Lovely book ... good for young adults and older adults too ... a very inviting approach to journal your days with a perspective on the natural world.
