Excellent AC adaptor for 12V DC devices up to 2A
I had a device for my home Audio/Video switching that used an external power supply and one day it just stopped working. Luckily I was able to swap it out temporarily with another device, so I was certain it was just a dead power supply. So I ordered this as a replacement for my dead power supply. When this came, I was very happy with the results, as it worked perfectly as a replacement power supply. Plus all the extra features of this power supply makes it a perfect unit for a variety of 12V devices. First, the most significant physical feature is that this power supply is narrower than the typical wall-wart type of power supply. This is excellent as it does not prevent use of adjacent outlets in power strips. Second, is that it comes with a variety of adaptor plugs that makes it easy to use this power supply with a wide variety of devices that might have a power connector of a different style/size than the standard one. These two features alone make this a perfect replacement power supply. So much so, that I ordered another in order to have a couple spares on hand now.Note: for those not familiar with power ratings, you can use this on any device that says it requires 12V DC power. This power supply is rated for up to 2A (two amps). This means you can use it with any device that requires 2A or less. So if your device says it needs 0.5A, this power supply will work fine with it. The capacity of the power supply must be higher or equal to the current the device needs. Also, note that if your device says it needs are in milliamps (mA), then the equivalent is multiplied by 1000. Thus the capacity of this in mA would be listed as 2000mA. So a device that says is uses 850mA will work just fine.

Look for desired output instead of relying on search by product name....
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Original Audient iD14 (rev. 1) power adapter died causing interface to only produce popping noises. Fortunately, the actual audio interface was USB bus powered so when the power adapter was disconnected, the unit functioned normally. The power adapter was used to power the 48VDC phantom power for attached microphones. Ironically many of the power supplies listed under the Amazon search term "Audient iD14 power adapter" actually did not conform to the actual specifications of the original adapter. After searching for "12VDC 1.5A power supplies" I found this adapter. It comes with multiple tips and produces 12VDC at up to 2A output. The standard barrel tip fit the Audient iD14 perfectly and the interface---including the phantom microphone power---works perfectly. Highly recommend this power adapter and seller...

It works
I have an expensive aluratek digital frame that stopped working after a power outage. The customer service rep said that it may be the power supply. This item matched the original part number and works perfectly. Hopefully it continues to work properly.

12v on the dot
I got this to run an external harddrive adapter. It worked for that purpose. The cord could be an extra two feet, but it works good. It does feel a tad cheaply made and got a little warm to the touch, but nothing dangerous after a couple hours. I cannot speak for all of the adapters it comes with, but I'm sure I'll be using this for other devices in the future.

Good charger
Needed a charging cord for a portable DVD player I bought years ago, couldn't find it's AV cord. This is the right voltage, came with plenty of easy install tips. Had the right size, now can enjoy my shows and movies again.

Stopped working two months in. Unusable now.
Bought it on the last week of much and it just stopped working on the last day on June as I was getting started with my job. It never felt like a quality product when I initially took it out of the box but I thought "Hey, it works." But a product I can't use after a total of two months is definitely trash.

Works, but not for what I bought it for — Asus RT-AX3000 Router
This thing works, and it has several plug adapters, so I will be keeping it for the utility. However, the base plug that is said to match the Asus router I bought it for is just barely too small. It fits too loosely in the router power port, that it easily falls out and the router then turns off. There’s a green adapter that does fit snugly in the router power port, but then it no longer powers the device, probably since the adapter’s plug doesn’t have the little eye shape, so it’s not truly making contact. That’s just my guess.Still good. just doesn’t actually match the adapter I need. If you have an Asus RT-AX3000 router, this might not work for you either.Note: My picture is the adapter model I needed.Note2: I was told by Asus that there are multiple variants of the power plug connector, depending on what manufacturing plant the router was made at and what version number of the model. I just thought I could get an Amazon delivered cord quicker than contacting Asus this time around.
