Excellent tool.
I have two of these now and this model is much lighter and packs a punch. Has 3 modes for torque and a light which can be switched on or off.

Fast delivery
I was a bit apprehensive about whether it would cope with the wheel nuts on both of my cars but I needn't have worried, this impact wrench coped with it easily on just the number one setting. My one quibble with Makita is the flimsy rubber inserts that they glue on the body of the wrench. The last impact driver that I bought shed the rubber in the first two years. The machine however I cannot fault, the impact driver is now 15 yrs old and has done a lot of construction work.I cannot comment on the longevity of the impact wrench.

Good, but not as powerful as hoped
After a few false starts from cheaper brands, I only ever buy makita. I bought this to tackle a specific job - namely to remove a seized alloy locking bolt. It made lots of noise, but failed to move it.After exhausting all home routes, I ended up taking the car to a local garage where their Milwaukee impact gun removed it with ease. So, this gun is good for lighter tasks, but if you are specifically trying to remove a seized wheel bolt, either buy a more powerful one or get in the experts.

Makita quality
Absolute game changer Bought this as a backup for my other Makita impact which was too big for a specific installation Just put in over 600 M16 bolts Genuinely can't fault it Battery life excellent on 5amp Very light to use and hang on a tool belt holster

Really powerful
After trying for hours to loosen a rear diff fluid drain and fill plug, with neither budging at all, as a last resort - not expecting much success - I put a 1/2" to 3/8" square adapter on the Makita and gingerly squeezed the trigger. The fill plug came straight out. I adjusted the setting on the Makita and used it again on the drain plug. That loosened just enough so that I could unscrew it by hand. In both cases, it was completely effortless. Wheel nuts are a breeze; even 36mm drive shaft end nuts tightened to over 200 nm - no problem. Can't praise this impact wrench highly enough - really top notch.
