I haven't used this in public yet but I'm planning on going to Disneyland with just myself and my daughter so I was worried about her taking off/getting lost since I'll be the only one watching her around a lot of people. She doesn't like holding hands so I figured this is better than holding onto the stroller. Also with all the kidnappings, this is definitely piece of mind... Especially with the lock and key feature. It's very comfortable and has actual wire cable inside so nobody can just come up with scissors or a knife and cut it off. As a ftm with mild anxiety of public places, this definitely helps ease the fear of something happening to my daughter. She also likes to hide in the clothing racks at stores so will definitely be taking this every where I go.

we used this with my toddler at Disney so she could feel like she had some freedom while still being literally attached, worked perfect and it didn't feel like a dog leash!

My 4 yr old is basically past stroller stage but is non verbal autistic. We need something to go to the zoo, lake, shopping as she is a wanderer. This will work great after we can get her used to the confining factor. Love the safety in place so kiddos can't take it off on their own!

Ik weird title but let me tell you.... this is very easy to use and able to wear a long time. We use ours when going on walks in the park, at the mall shopping, walking around the zoo, and soon gonna try it at a festival.The locking part is such a security measure that I love. My daughter is figuring out how to undo buckles so having it locked mean she can't get away. Oh the key, attached at your end so no one can grab key and then your child.My daughter can have freedom of walking around on her own and I know she is just within my reach.

I love about how this have a lock that keep my child to not be able to just open the velcro. And my child loves to use this. She doesn't mind at all.And the key is in grown up wrist (attach). So it's perfect!

Just need to be longer to use outside

We bought this to use in busy places while travelling with an autistic toddler who wanders away. Works great! The review that said the velcro makes it useless is wrong - you cannot undo the band when the child is wearing it, if you have it done up correctly. And to the reviewer who suggested it wasn't a 'proper lock', the key mechanism is to prevent the child from undoing the device, not child abduction! The lock works as it is intended.
