Plant Adaptations: How We Live in Our Habitat

Same book as the author's other plant adaptations title
Be aware that this author has two titles (Plant Adaptations: How Will We Survive? and Plant Adaptations: How We Live in Our Habitat) that are the same book in slightly different sizes. On the whole, the information is good. A minor error: cactus spines are called thorns, which they are not. Spines are modified leaves - what the cactus has. Thorns are modified stems - what a hawthorn has. Plant books are hard to find, and books on adaptations are useful, so there is a place for this in the classroom. Just don't order both titles.

Perfect for Elementary!!
I simply love the combination of a habitat study that focuses on plants for students to read about! It's so hard to find content on topics such as these!! All the bases are covered for younger students studying habitats and plant adaptations!

Beautiful Science Book for Primary Grades
This book will be perfect for my first and second-grade science groups. Great photos, pictures, and content. I ordered this author's other book as well, which is geared towards third and fourth graders. This is perfect for differentiated reading levels.
