These are awesome and so cute! They do run large in my opinion. My 3 year old is pretty tall for his age, he's almost 42 inches, and the 3-4 year size is cinched down as far as they will go and there is some slack in the straps still. But they stay on and he'll wear these for a long time (I hope!). The material is very thin and flexible but perfectly waterproof! I don't know how comfortable they would be in hot weather because we live where it's cool and rainy all the time. I love how high up they come and the stirrup straps on the legs. There's also buttons on the side for width adjustment. I see these being the best money I've spent on my son in a long time! I just ordered some for my 1 year old daughter! The only thing I was not happy with was no tracking information from the seller.UPDATE 2/13/2017- I've had this product since October with regular but not excessive use (maybe 2 times a week on average). My son is a very active 3 year old and is a total boy playing with trucks and things in the yard, on his knees. I'm sad to say that a couple months ago I thought I started noticing a hole develop in the knee; yup. So now it's mostly waterproof, expect when he kneels down to play, which is every time he goes out. While I still think this a very good rain suit, I would really like to see the knee area with a double layer. I guess I'll have to come up with my own thing, or give him knee pads!

Bought smallest size available (9-12 m.) for my 15-month-old son. He is quite small for his age (5%-10%), and I know rain gear runs big already, so I wasn't sure that even the 9-12-month size would work for him. So hard to find rain gear sized for babies!!! This suit is really roomy on him and almost too long to work, but by putting the adjustable sides on the tightest notch, tightening the shoulder straps to the max, and pushing up the legs quite a bit (the elastic cuffs are very firm--a good thing--and hold tight around a boot so you can shorten the leg a lot without "rolling" the pant legs up), these work great. I think they will fit him next year as well, since they are so adjustable and have so much length and width left for him that I can let out as needed... I have washed these several times as well, following washing instructions, and they come out perfectly. They are from a German company, I believe, and you can see it in the extra care put into the thoughtful details and the good finishing of the garment. Highly recommend--you will be pleased with these!

Awesome for children who go to a Waldorf school. My child needs rain gear for attending a Waldorf school because they do play in the rain and regular pants don't cut it. These have held up all year and can grow with your child.

UPDATE: can't believe we've had this for 2 1/2 years now! What a great purchase! Just recently the strap on one leg broke off and she snagged and ripped a hole in the knee, otherwise it would have kept fitting at least another 6 months. She's rough on her clothes though, so it's surprising it made it this long through regular use climbing trees, splashing in mud puddles, hiking through blackberry vines (probably what finally ripped it...)-- definitely a tough little suit. This size fit around 40-0 lbs, 42-48" and could have gone taller/wider easily. I'm back to order the next size up!I got a 5-6 for my rather small just turned 5 year old and while I had to adjust it past the smallest size and tuck in the excess, I loved that there was so much space and adjustability for growth. We do almost daily outdoor activities even in the winter and it has made cleanup so much easier... we even tried it at the beach in the winter and the sand literally just slid right off. Getting in the truck all I had to do was take off her boots and throw them in the truck bed and she was sand free. Best way to end a trip to the beach!

We live in the North and my son loves playing in water. There are 2 months or more out of the year that playing at the playground or in puddles means getting soaked while temps are still below 60°. Love it! Exactly what we were looking for. Our 3.5 year old goes to an outdoor play school and she needs to be ready for rain. Love them!They are a little big but we wanted them that way, to grow with her. We're hoping they last until she's done with her Waldorf preschool. I bet they will!

We bought the jacket and bib-tights/overalls rain gear. It is very lightweight and waterproof. But, like the headline says, this material is SUPER THIN and rips/tears fairly easily. Was also hugely disappointed by how long it took for shipping. Be sure to confirm how long they give themselves to ship -- if you need rain gear soon (and/or durable, for a high energy youngster like ours) I recommend you look elsewhere. I would not buy this product line, or from this seller, again.

This is a must have for any parent! My toddler loves the outdoors and now that it’s raining a lot... it not only keeps her clothes dry and allows her to stop in every puddle and to get into some murky places... but also keeps her warm since the weather where we are hasn’t quite warmed up yet. Anyways long story short, this is an awesome investment and I am a candidate for more...

Unser großer hat mittlerweile Größe 134 und ist nicht schmal, sondern eher kernig. Breit gebaut, aber nicht dick.Da er noch ein Kindergarten kind ist, brauchen wir zwingend eine Matschhose. Leider hören die meisten bei 122/128 auf oder es gibt sie in 134/140 ,sie fallen aber schmal aus.Die Matschhose von playshoes ist super. Sie fällt Größen gerecht aus, der große hat noch Platz drin. Er mag sie gerne tragen und bewertet sie mit "ist bequem"Die Qualität ist super. Alle Nähte sind ordentlich vernäht. Wir haben sie schon mehrere Male gewaschen, sie sieht immer noch aus wie neu.Ich mag es auch, dass man sie an den Armen einstellen kann. Falls unser kleiner großer noch wächst, können wir die lange jederzeit schnell und einfach verändern :)Falls euch meine Bewertung gefallen hat, würde ich mich freuen, wenn ihr auf den "nützlich" Button klickt :)

So far so good. My daughter loves going to forest school and she gets truly muddy there. We had one by Jojo maman bebe before this, which cost about 3 times the price. Quality-wise, the Jojo one probably a little nicer to feel as the outside of that one has a bit of a brushed texture, kinda like suede. Whereas this one is a little more like rubbery, almost like a non-stretchy balloon. (Hope that makes sense). Not that it matters as my daughter actually prefers the way this one feels.The buttons on the sides add an extra level of adjustment that is great. And the adjustable straps really give loads of growing room.My daughter is an average sized girl, almost exactly 4 years old. I got the size 5-6 and it's a great fit. With the straps tightened up all the way, the elastic at the ankles bunches up just a little over her wellies. Assuming they don't fall apart before then, they will almost definitely last til she's 6.I bought the yellow, and it's a lovely vibrant yellow. And the reflective strip is a nice touch too.Very happy with my purchase.

Wir haben die Matschhose in gelb und Größe 80 gekauft. Ich habe mich an anderen Rezessionen orientiert, und mich doch für 80 statt 86 entschieden. Dafür, das die Hose noch mit "9-12 months" deklariert ist, fällt sie riiiesig aus!! Mein Kind ist bereits 17 Monate, aber diese 80 noch immer zu groß! Da die Größe echt etwas verwirrend ist, ein Stern Abzug. Das gelb ist intensiver als auf dem Produktionbild, aber okay, das stört mich nicht groß.

So, I bought these and got totally confused with the sizings! Some how, I managed to buy age 5-6 for my 18 month old!! Im terrible fir not sending things back, so thought I'd give them a go any way,and I'm not disappointed. They are absolutely huge on him, but the straps and adjustable buttons work great. We live on a farm, so these are in use daily now. Hopefully they will last him until he grows into them! Really reasonable priced product and easy to get on and off

Ce produit est une très bonne surprise.J'ai acheté ce produit pour que ma fille de 2 ans puisse jouer dans le sable humide en automne ou hiver, sans qu'elle n'ait froid ou ne soit mouillée.C'est magique et rudement bien pensé.Idéalement, on enfile la salopette au dessus du pantalon et du manteau, sauf quand il pleut, auquel cas on met le manteau par dessus.La salopette taille grand et c'est tant mieux. Il y a de nombreux réglages possibles : au niveau des bretelles pour la hauteur, au niveau de la taille avec des pressions pour la largeur, et il y a même des élastiques qu'on peut ou non fixer sous la chaussure pour que le pantalon ne remonte pas.C'est assez imperméable et très souple pour ne pas gêner l'enfant. Le sable ne passe pas non plus.On a testé le toboggan et ça glisse.Après quelques mois d'utilisation, j'enlève finalement 1 étoile, car il y a un manque d'étanchéité au niveau des coutures de l'élastique dans le dos. Quand il pleut beaucoup ou que ma fille glisse sur un toboggan mouillé, j'observe que son manteau est un peu mouillé au niveau de l'élastique du dos. C'est dommage, car cet aspect esthétique nuit à l'efficacité du produit.Ça reste quand même un très bon achat.Merci d'indiquer si le commentaire vous a été utile.
