This is a game changer for my sour dough bread making. I thought I could get away with just spooning some flour into a mesh strainer and flouring my banneton or countertop (while kneading the dough), but this tool does that so much easier and more consistently. Push the stem to slide the halves apart; scoop your powdery ingredient, then allow the ball to close. It's that easy! You can direct the powder exactly where you want it, and It cleans easily.
