Beautiful!
This is beautiful yarn. It has a somewhat stiff feel compared to other cotton yarns, almost like it was waxed. I had to use a plastic hook with it because my painted hooks kept sticking to the finish and this made it harder to form stitches. The plastic hooks were fine. Normally, my vintage painted hooks glide easily through any yarn. This yarn made much prettier designs than another brand of cotton yarn when I tested them with samples of the same intricate pattern. This yarn showed off the pattern better and made it look artistic. It takes a little longer to form certain stitches because of the yarn’s coating, but the finished product is definitely worth the added time. I didn’t experience any splitting like I did with the other brand. Unraveling (frogging) is easy. I tried this repeatedly on the same section to make sure. This brand has good online recommendations and reviews, so I assume it will prove to be worth the cost. The colors are so pretty that it was hard to decide which to buy first. I noticed some packages with compatible colors, too. Very pretty choices. Cotton yarn is great for so many things, so having some of this on hand would be a good idea. I bought four skeins of the eggplant color. It goes beautifully with antiques and framed antique pictures.

This is the only yarn I will use now.
I bought about a dozen different types at a Joanns sale months ago, and this particular variety stood out as clearly superior. With the store closing, I am glad they are available on Amazon. What's good about it? I do amigurumi projects mostly, and for some reason these patterns often recommend acrylic yarn. Maybe because it's cheap. If you want your project to actually turn out looking nice though, I would go with cotton. as it doesn't produce so much lint / fuzz. Although you will probably not need the heat and laundering resistance that cotton provides in this case, I still think it's worth it, especially if you are selling your work.Even among cotton yarns though, this one is just better. I compared it to K-C and Caron cotton yarns in particular, and it definitely doesn't split nearly as much - by split, I mean the individual yarn threads unwinding from the others when hooking or pulling through. It feels to the touch like any cotton yarn, but has an almost rubber-like pliability when working with it that is hard to describe, but definitely pleasant. Not sure what they do in processing to get it that way, but other yarns don't have it.It appears slightly finer weight than these others as well, but I don't think it actually is, because the weight : length ratio ends up the same. It is probably just the total smoothness (absence of fluff) around the perimeter. I've used it with hook sizes ranging from 3 to 4 with no problem - though if you are making a trivet or coaster or something designed to lay on a flat surface, the listed size of 4 is probably quite right, because anything smaller tends to make it curl up (from the stitches being too tight). What are the downsides? Well, it is a little bit more expensive than most for the amount you get, but worth it in my opinion. I am a little disappointed about the range of color choices as well - particularly purple - there is only one shade that actually looks purple in person (aptly named purple), while there are a multitude of greens and golds. I tried mixing it with other brands' yarn that did have more colors, and the quality change is apparent.Unlike some yarn skeins, you cannot easily pull out the opposite end to work with either - it's buried in the middle somewhere. Whatever winding process they use also puts quite a lot of waves into the yarn at the center. This doesn't matter if you are just making stitches with it - it's not tangled or anything. But if for some reason you actually just want the straight piece of yarn to show (doll hair for instance) the outer pieces are going to be 'straight' and the inner pieces 'curly'.If your floor has carpet it will stick like mad to that, but that's just a property of the natural fiber....

Smooth and Easy to Work With
This yarn is great, especially for 100% cotton yarn. It feels smooth and doesn't fray. It is very easy to work with and doesn't irritate my skin with its coarseness like some of the other cotton yarns. The colors are true to the photos. The white is really nice and bright white. I'll definitely purchase again to use for future projects. I've included a photo of the in-progress blanket I purchased this yarn for, which displays the colors: White, Succulent, Terracotta, and Lemon

Good quality, just not very soft
This was my first time buying cotton yarn, and I’ll admit — I expected it to be softer right out of the skein. What I’ve learned is that cotton yarn tends to be a bit stiff at first but softens up after a few washes. The quality of the yarn itself is great, but I ended up not using it for my intended project because it was too stiff to work with comfortably. That’s not a knock on the brand — it’s just the nature of some cotton yarns. If you're planning a project that holds its shape or can be washed to soften, this could still be a great choice.

A good affordable cotton yarn 😊
This yarn is great for crocheting bags!! This yarn is perfect for granny squares, and is easy to crochet with. It’s affordable and totally worth it! The yarn ball is a little smaller as it looks in the picture but I was able to create many granny squares with the whole yarn. 10/10 would recommend. Very good cotton yarn. Good quality.

A little rough but pretty color
Honestly, I didn’t like this yarn too much. It’s a bit on the rougher side. I did end up using it for the project I needed but I probably wouldn’t purchase it again the color is very pretty though.
