I used this kit to make jerky out of 10 pounds of lean ground chuck. I found there to be more than enough cure and seasoning in this kit as I had some left over. I followed the recipe provided in the kit and found it to be spot on for flavor and did not require any adjustments for seasoning amount. Enjoy!

We received 2 original seasoning packets in the variety pack instead of the mesquite.So far we’ve the original and hickory seasoning and were amazing.

Season could be a little stronger

Love the flavor combinations. Have been ordering for years. Homemade jerky is much cheaper than store bought.

I used 3 lbs ground beef with the cracked pepper mix. The mix states can use the supplied amt with 4 lbs beef. I used the entire with 3 lbs and 3 of the 4 in the house state, needs more spice. On the others, I will cut down to less than 3 lbs, or add some of my own flavorings to bring it up a notch. I did buy as liked the variety to try, so will see how the other packets rank.
