Honestly, too good
This may sound ridiculous but I almost wish they weren't as good as they are. I've taken them to about three shows now - I have horrible tinnitus in my ear, I bought these to keep it from getting worse mostly. They make the drums sound crystal clear, but you lose a lot of sound from the guitars. My buddy with me said one of those shows was the best he'd ever been to; I thought it was a great show, but because of the noise reduction I didn't get quite as into it as he did. This all sounds like a negative, I know - but, they do the job they're supposed to do, and they do it very very well. In spite of what I've written they only marginally take away from my band experience. My hearing is more important than experiencing full volume. My favorite part of these is the canister it comes with to store the earplugs in, I like that I can clip it to my belt and I just have a dedicated place for them. They're worlds better than trying to use foam earplugs, I'm not sure how price compares to other high quality plugs but these could easily last you years, so to me the cost is well worth it. They fit perfectly, sometimes it takes me a second to remove them but it's not enough of a bother for me personally.

Metallica tested. They work pretty well and sound great.
Worked great especially for the price. Nice carrying cylinder included but they can get stuck in there so you have to be careful to put them in with the pull tab facing outwards. I used these at a 2 day Metallica concert. The first day I didn't have any good hearing protection and had some major ringing in my ears so i ordered these and another brand just in case these sucked. The other brand I ordered was not good sound was muffled and not enjoyable. I put these in my ears and was very easy to actually adjust the loudness of sound you want by just pulling them in and out a bit. Put them in and forgot I had them in there at all. Sound was great at the concert too. Had to take them out to talk to people which is to be expected. Next day after the concert using these I still had a tiny bit of ringing but much less than I did on the first day of the concert without these. It was a VERY loud concert. I feel that these gave me some protection while not inhibiting my enjoyment of the show. I would recommend these.

husband likes but....
Recently I tested several earplugs before kpop concert season hit. My teen and I are into it (I’ve been listening since 2000 ish) and I have some hearing loss between singing in bands in another lifetime and a severe ear infection in my left ear as a kid where the drum ruptured. These were one of the ones I tested. My husband had these and said he liked them (he's old and into old school rock and roll for context. I think his first concert when he was a teen was Queen? Kansas? Anyway he's mainly been the driver during our kpop concert exploits and asks for cheap seats and earplugs for himself (he did quite enjoy both nights of Seventeen but not Aespa as much *shrug*). He said these fit well and he didn't need to change a thing. He was also never as close to the stage as we were though and said some of the screaming near him was painful so I cannot vouch for how well these actually work. They are a good price but I wouldn't feel safe if my kid was using just these and sitting near speakers. For me, it was a struggle. I could not get a good solid fit even with the smallest size so they were basically useless for noise blocking. YMMV. I know from having a hearing aid years ago that I have smaller ear canals (and who knew this was a thing?). The winners of my ear testing was regular eargasm ear blockers with the smallest size tips (note not extra small which I have not tried). My teen has (and yeah this is really weird) my EXACT ears. After she was born we were shocked how her little ears down to every fold look exactly like mine. Like they were cloned (yay genetics), so her not having to live with my EEEeEEeeeeeee was super important to me. She said eargasm worked best for her too with the small tips. I'll write a better review over there because I have caveats even with those.I cannot stress how important hearing is and I hope someday we can regrow those darn hairs (go science!). Because of tinnitus I have to sleep with several sound machines even while traveling because my hearing loss/damage EEEEEEeeeEEEEEE is loud enough to wake me up. I've mostly adapted but it still affects everything (we have to sit on one side because of hearing loss, when driving I have to be ever aware that I can’t hear out of one side, I can get startled by people or animals behind me, walking a dog becomes difficult because I need them to only walk on one side, and when I walked with my daughter she noticed that I have to walk with her on my right “good” side. Please take care of your hearing! I’m trying to be more accurate with my reviews so if this helped you please give me a thumbs up so I know to keep reviewing more!

Festival Game Changer - Quality Ear Protection for a Fraction of the Price!
My wife and I snagged these Hearprotek earplugs for Breakaway this past weekend, and we are seriously impressed! We've previously tried other popular brands like Loops and Eargasm, but decided to take a chance on these given their more attractive price point. We're so glad we did! These Hearprotek earplugs proved to be just as comfortable as the more expensive alternatives, which is a huge plus for all-day wear at a loud event. More importantly, they performed beautifully in terms of sound protection. They effectively muffled the harsh, damaging frequencies, making the music much more enjoyable and preventing that awful post-festival ear ringing for days afterward. For anyone looking for a more affordable option that doesn't compromise on comfort or quality ear protection, these are an absolute must-have. They genuinely enhanced our festival experience. Absolutely would recommend!
