This same bag is $95 at Home Depot, so I was stoked to save $30 buying it here! The product itself is awesome, it grows super fast and works exactly as expected. Highly recommend if you’re looking for value and performance.

Our grass had been washed away by Hurricane Helene in September. I was doubtful we could ever replace the lovely yard we had. We were desperate to get rid of the trail of mud that kept following us into the house. We were delighted with the results we saw after using Rapid Grass. Once again we have a lush, green lawn . This is a high quality product that we have been thrilled with. We will definitely repurchase and continue to use this product for any future lawn care needs.

My photos show before and after, about a 3 week difference. I'm relatively happy with this seed. As you can see, grass is growing. However, I have a few spots that just won't sprout anything and I think its due to increased shade in those areas. So if you have a shady area, this seed won't work I'm guessing. Also, it isn't as thick as I'd want it. Maybe in due time. I might put more seed down.

Let me just say: I threw this stuff on my sad, patchy, post-apocalyptic wasteland of a lawn with very low expectations. I didn’t water it like I was supposed to, I ignored it for a few days, and yet… BOOM. Grass. Glorious, thick, green grass. It came in faster than my Amazon Prime delivery.My neighbors are slowing their cars to stare. One asked if I was using "black market sod." A squirrel moved in and started a family. I saw a rabbit nibbling politely like it was at a fine dining restaurant.I half expected to wake up to a letter from the Italian neighbors apologizing for doubting me.If you're wondering whether this works—yes. But be warned: once you use it, you’ll be obligated to maintain a level of lawn greatness previously unknown to you. The grass grew so fast and thick I’m 90% sure it whispered, “You’re welcome.”

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. This is now my seventh time trying this grass seed with the same results… It all dies. It will grow very quickly but then as soon as the temperature is above 80°F, even with the proper water, the grass turns brown. I have been planting grass seed for over 20 years and I have never had this issue before. I now have to start completely over with topsoil, aeration, and I will not be using this seed ever again. Buyer beware. If planted in shade, you may be good to go but if you even have four hours of sunlight a day, this grass will not survive. Terrible seed.

Edit: changing my review as seed started to germinate after about 3 weeks. Not excellent results by any means but not 0% like original review. They sprouted better in the shade areas than the sun.Seeded almost 2 weeks ago with two 5.6 lb bags. Raked areas, put down seed, covered with "lawn soil." Watered daily in the spring (no extreme cold or hot temperatures). 0% germination. Like literally not one sprout with two full bags put down on three different lawns in my yard (back, side, front). Wish there was some way to return but obviously not.

I must say I am very inexperienced in growing plants or grass. I don’t have a green thumb and I am not inclined to do much yard work. That saying, I highly recommend this! It is super easy to use and very effective. I live in Texas and saw it germinate and grow maybe a little after a week in the spring? Only reason I’m not posting photos is because it wouldn’t do the product justice. I didn’t know what I was doing and spread it out in a couple different patchy areas but I didn’t use enough. User error, not the product

This stuff really works, but works best with some help. I have attached photos. My first attempt was just the seeding and it did help slightly but not significant results with the red dirt clay we have. If you are starting from scratch and there is red dirt clay, it takes more than just the seed to see a major difference. For the second attempt, I purchased top soil and the coconut/straw to lay on top to help with erosion.You can absolutely tell where I stopped the seeding. I would say the whole process took about 4 weeks so see these (so far) results. The photos show the progress from beginning to 4 weeks out from the second attempt.
