This pillow helped me keep pressure on my chest after my double mastectomy when the compression bra was uncomfortable from rubbing across the incisions. The pocket on the inside was great for holding an ice pack and the front pocket was great for keeping my tv and chair remote in reaching distance. I also used this pillow for sleeping. I couldn’t find a comfortable position for my arms while sleeping at an angle so it helped with that too. I would definitely recommend if you want a break from the compression bra or have trouble sleeping.

I truly love this pillow! I made certain to take this pillow with me to the hospital for the car ride home following my breast surgery. Holding it against my upper torso absolutely decreased the discomfort. The soft plushness was supportive and durable.

I love this thing! It's not as "weighted" as I anticipated but that's OK since my surgeon said to not have too much pressure. She also wants me to heal naturally with no heat / cooling so I havnt tried the pack yet. But just having it over me as an extra layer of comfort / protection. There are pockes on the front and back which was nice surprise. I can hold my phone or medicine or walkie talkie to get my husband if I need help. I also think once I'm healed this will make a great lumbar support for my lower back and the ice pack will come in handy. It's super soft and comfortable and I'm very attached with it. It's the main thing I carry with me from bed to couch for a change of scenery. Plus I have youmh kids and animals that are used to climbimg all over me and this pillow protexts from u expected paws or hands enough to address the situation and get them to stop. I highly recommend!

100 percent get this if you are having breast surgery or abdomen surgery. Life saver!

This 4 star rating is only because if you are a bigger person the strap will not go all the way around. I just had a mastectomy on the right side. I ordered this and received it the next day. It is very soft and comfortable. The only problem I have with it is I am/was a 40C, the strap only went 3/4 of the way around me. I use it when sitting or laying down. I wish strap was longer; but do recommend it for anyone getting a mastectomy. You won’t regret getting it! I will be having reconstructive surgery in 6 months & a breast reduction on the left side 6 months after that. I am very happy to know I will be able to use this pillow then also.

It is awesome works great in the car or just sitting. It is great for sleeping as well!
