Streamlight 88810 Wedge 300-Lumen Slim Everyday Carry Flashlight, Includes USB-C Cable and Lanyard, Black

I recently grabbed the Streamlight 88810 Wedge 300-Lumen Flashlight for my EDC, and it’s been a fantastic little light! Its slim, flat design slides into my pocket like a dream, barely noticeable alongside my phone, and the deep-carry clip keeps it secure without snagging. The 300-lumen mode is plenty bright for nightly dog walks or rummaging under furniture, and the 1000-lumen THRO mode is a quick press away for when I need to light up something farther out—though I wish it could stay on high without holding the switch. The USB-C charging is super convenient, fully juicing up in about 3 hours, and the sturdy aluminum body feels like it’ll last forever, even with an IPX7 waterproof rating for rainy days. My only gripe is it’s a tad long for smaller pockets, but at around $80 on sale, it’s a solid, reliable flashlight that’s become my go-to for everyday carry—definitely recommend

Let me start by saying—I don’t typically write product reviews. But I felt compelled to share my experience with this light.While I won’t go into technical details like lumens or candela, I can confidently speak to the durability of this light. I’m a deputy in California, where we experience all four seasons. I purchased this light for everyday carry and ended up losing it during a search and rescue mission in the snow. I marked the coordinates where I dropped it, hoping I might recover it later.Fast forward two months—I returned to the location and found the light exactly where I’d lost it. Despite needing a serious cleaning, it worked perfectly. That kind of resilience is rare.This light is clearly built for professionals, and I genuinely appreciate that. I’ll be a lifelong customer!

Great small EDC light. Yes it easy to bump the button in your pocket, but that's why it has a very easy and simple lockout function so that it doesnt turn on accidentally. I've carried it for over a year almost daily and have had zero issues apart from the lanyard is starting to fray slightly from rubbing against the clip constantly. Battery life is great and it charges in only a few hours.

I had the Streamlight Wedge in my wishlist for a couple months. I have compared the Wedge with other similarity priced “tactical” EDC flashlights. I read several reviews and watched several YouTube videos comparing them all. Most of these lights have various modes, (brightness), two switches requiring full /half presses to cycle modes, various charging cables/methods and other “features”.I wanted to replace my Surefire Stiletto Pro light which has multiple modes along with two switches which I rarely use. (BTW …the switch on the end typically turns on while in my pocket. Ouch! It does get hot!) I concluded I didn’t need all those modes, multiple presses/half presses on one switch or the other. Basically all I wanted was a solid, bright light with a simple option to make it brighter if desired.I decided on this Streamlight Wedge over all the others for these reasons:1) Simple to operate.2) Not a bunch of unneeded modes. Just two!3) Not easily turned on accidentally in pocket.4) Comfortable in pocket with a strong clip.5) Easy charging (USB-C) w/o needing proprietary cables.6) LED lights show charge level when using, needs charging, and is charging.7) IPX7 “waterproof”8) Solid build with an awesome warranty.I only have two disappointments. 1) The Wedge is a little too long (minor complaint). 2) While Streamlight is an American company and the flashlights are engineered in the USA, sadly, they are still made in China.

This Is a really nice edc work light. Super clean design. The pocket clip is better than the one that comes on the pen style streamlight and The usb-c port is another nice upgrade too.

Great brightness, durability, and profile for pocket-carrying. However, the tiny screws holding it together have no thread lock coating at all. The clip came loose within a couple weeks, and a few months later I noticed one of the body screws had gone missing.

I’ve had this as my EDC for months now. I carry it daily & have used it many times but it hasn’t needed charging yet. I occasionally plug it in just to be sure. It is a bit pricey but I really feel like this light will last for years.

I carry my Streamlight wedge XT as my EDC. Once you get used to the programmable control button you can customize priority of Lumens and lock out. Battery lasts a long time and I haven't charged it in a few months.
