Direct replacement for the 30" CampChef pellet grill sold at Sportsman's Warehouse.
A quick YouTube search yielded a video on how to swap these out. It was very simple - four screws. The probe wire connects to the back of the control panel. It's easy to remove the old one and just as easy to connect the new one. Route the wire so it doesn't get caught in the auger mechanism. I was getting an RTD probe error that made my stove inoperable and this was the fix it needed. Apparently these probes go bad regularly and need replaced. If you're getting and RDT error on your CampChef this is the fix.

Fit well
Went in very easily i just wish i replaced the igniter while i was taking it apart but it was not too hard to take apart if it fails in the future.

Works to get my smoker working again. Not a direct replacement.
It wasn't a direct replacement for my Camp Chef PG24DLX. The plug is different. The product image on Amazon shows the correct plug, but that is not the one that was sent. I managed to force the plug into the connector on my smoker but it isn't exactly locked in place. Vibrations might back the plug out over time.Seems to read the correct temperature now though.

Perfect replacement for camp chef.
I had a flare up and I could tell my under hood temp was wrong after that. Used this as a replacement for the original camp chef unit 100 percent identical.

Wrong connector
As others have said the connector is incorrect.I needed to use my smoker so I trimmed it down in order to make it work, but it is most definitely NOT a PG24-44 camp chef part and my temperature display now reads incorrect, but I was able to cook.Not happy at all.I will be buying one direct from Camp Chef, so this was pretty much wasted money.I would rate it 0 if I could.
