This is a scam.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've been looking for the perfect litter box for years. My Squiggles is over 20 and is a high pee-er. He's also a large, tall cat. I've tried normal litter boxes, self-cleaning litter boxes, corner boxes, boxes hidden in furniture, hooded litter boxes and even a disposable one you throw away each month. I was at my wits end- the normal box was useless. He kicked litter everywhere and peed so high he'd spray the walls, the garbage can or whatever else was in the way. Self-cleaning ones are great, in theory, but didn't do much for his high peeing. The corner box had a hood that should have been awesome - but the latches were precisely where his pee hit. This meant it leaked out the sides. I tried taping the box shut and this worked, but made cleaning very difficult. The disposable monthly cardboard box that they promised was leak proof? Yeah, you guessed it. It leaked. I took pictures and everything because they swore up and down it was made to be leak proof. I got a refund after they saw the pictures. This didn't help my predicament. I googled and googled until I found this box. It was between this one and another brand that you need to use these reusable plastic liners in. Sounds fantastic unless the company ever goes out of business. Besides, they were out of stock.So, I ordered this one. Fast shipping and OMG no more leaking pee. It is very, very sturdy. It reminds me of an oversized storage tub. However, this is heavier and no matter how much he tries, he can't pee out of it. Even if he turned around and tried to pee out of the hole, he'd have to squat- which he never does. So, it's a win win. :) Cleaning is easy(ish) as you just take the lid off and scoop. Any smell is contained in the box.If you have a large cat, a high pee-er or one that refuses to squat this is a perfect box for you.

I have had one of these for 3 years and ordered a 2nd one for our basement. Our 17 year old cat became very sick and I never even got the chance to unpack the new one. I emailed the seller and they were very compassionate and told me they would give me a full refund and they asked that I donate the new one to my local shelter. I cannot being to express my gratitude for Kat Kave. I highly recommend this little box it is the best I ever used and fit perfectly in the cabinet I bought for littler boxes. They not only make an awesome product but they are true animal lovers.

One of my two cats can't help but pee off the side of even the highest of walls on a litter box.Even my old 35in length x 24in width x 18 in height litter box--while a beast and an amazing litterbox--was not enough and my side-peeing cat would still manage to get some urine outside the box.My cats have grown accustomed to a large litterbox so I needed to find something that was large AND would solve for the side-peeing.This litterbox has surpassed all of my expectations, full stop. It's smaller than my previous litterbox but that's not a bad thing. It's still large enough that I don't feel like my adult cats are struggling to get in and out--very much unlike most covered cat litterboxes which are brutally small for adult cats.This litterbox is discreet, sturdy, the top comes off in a cinch. The corners are easy to clean out--again unlike pretty much all other litter boxes on the market.Eat the price and give yourself some peace of mind. You probably won't ever have to buy a new litterbox ever again which I love. Spend the dough, buy it for life.

We now have 3 of these Kat Kave litter boxes for our 4 cats, all of which are large (over 14#) males. I searched and searched for a number of years to find a litter box tall enough for one of my cats who just has to pee on the side of his litter box, which was such a pain with the covered pans, always wiping up where the top and bottom connect. Yuck! Found this litter box a few years ago. Bought as an experiment and it worked really well. So we finally decided to purchase the 3rd one recently. No more covered boxes!The only con to these litter boxes is they are a bit heavy for this aging senior to pick up and empty.

Okay. I've owned many kitties through the years and owned many, many different litter boxes. Every cat has different litter box traits. This is the best cat litter box in the whole wide world for all cats. Excellent look and quality material. Easy to clean. Perfect size. Keeps the mess inside the box. No leaks. No more over the top. No more under the bottom. No more all those crazy places a cat can decide to pee. You will love it! Your cat(s) will too. Perfect Litter Box!

Edited: it’s been a few weeks and this is a serious game changer. I wish I had found this years ago. They are using it great and definitely not peeing over the edge or through the opening. So glad I found this box. Worth every penny!I've only had this a few days but there has not been one drop of pee found outside of the box. I was nervous they'd not go in because for the last year we've just used the giant storage boxes with an entrance cut into the side. But because of covid (maybe?) I stopped being able to find the taller sided ones. It never occurred to me that my cats were standing to pee and that's why we'd been experiencing pee outside of the box with our last two boxes. I just thought they hated the different box. Somehow I came across this and it is expensive but I was pretty desperate. Well we set it up on Saturday and normally I have to rotate through 2-3 towels to soak up what ends up outside of the box. TO test this, I put it out with *GASP* nothing! No towels. Nothing underneath. Just on the tile. I really wanted to see what we were dealing with.So now it's Monday night and there has absolutely been steady usage but NO pee outside the box!So far we are not using with the lid. But it's so tall, I really don't think their pee could reach over the side, even without the lid. So, at this point we are thrilled. I will update my review in a few weeks.

I have a boy cat who pees straight back and HIGH. This litter pan is the only thing I've had that has contained his urine. I have a high-sided traditional pan that he would pee OVER. We love our Kat Kave. Pricey, but worth it.
