I have 4 of them good quality for small solar projects. Really ez to install and good value for what it does. Bright enough so you can see it and won't blind you ether. Accurate voltage and amp meter.

The media could not be loaded. Installed this 20 amp controller on my utility house with a 100 watt panel on the side and a regular high capacity automotive battery.I was using a very basic "yellow light on, charging - green light on, full" controller, but it was barely big enough to handle the 100 watt panel. It came with a 50 watt panel that I replaced when it died. The controller would overheat and shut down for a minute or two when the panel was in full sun, then come back on for a few minutes. I figured I was wasting charging time and looked in to a replacement that was rated for higher capacity.This GHB 20A 12V 24V Solar Charge Controller seemed like a good size since I could easily add another 100 watt panel later if I decide to.I really like the digital readout on the unit. Easy to see exactly what's going on. It is compact, and mounted easily. Very easy to hook up. We have hooked up to the wired outlet terminals a 12v pump to irrigate all the plants inside our green house, also have used the USB outlets to charge phones, and they work perfectly.Nice looking controller, and back lit well enough to see in daytime. The only complaint with the display is that you must be looking straight-on to see the LCD properly, but not a big deal, however. As a whole, this controller seems to be doing its job well, and I like the fact that it gives so much information. I also like that it does not switch off and on like the old one. It does not even get warm when operating, so I know it can handle much more than I'm asking of it.Extremely happy with my purchase highly recommended!

I've had this controller for about a year and have had no issues with it whatsoever. I use it to manage one or two 200 Watt solar panels for my RV.My batteries were not maintaining a healthy level.So I decided to start using 12 hundred watt solar panel and this controller. Even if I leave my RV batteries unattended for a couple months they are still holding 14 volts or more.The installation and use is super easy. It's small enough to fit just about anywhere. And I've never.Had any issue with it since day one.

I bought one of these to use with my 300w solar system and with the first day died and could no longer see the screen but a multimeter showed it was still sending power through so I hooked an amp meter from the controller to the battery to see what it was allowing through and it was less than an amp. I thought we'll maybe I got a defective one and I like the way it looked and worked before it died and didn't want to go through the whole return process I ordered another one, this one came and worked for 3 days. The screen still works but it does not send any power from the solar panel to the batteries and it says 0.0 under amps to the left. I had to go back to my old 10amp controller and that one works fine but I'm producing more than 10a so I'm losing anything above that. I'm going to just get several more of the 10amp ones I have and have each panel running through one to the battery cause that seems like the only way to do this reliably I'll upload pictures later of everything, after the first one died I took it apart to look for defects and there were none I could see

Very simple charge controller with no adjustable settings. Has an LCD display that is very difficult to see. In normal room lighting, the display is so dim it can only be read if you look straight on at it. In dark room it is only slightly better. Easy screw terminals to connect cables to, but somewhat narrow if you use heavy cables with lugs. Had to cut off edges of my lugs to fit in the space for screws.
