very sturdy pedal for the Roland keyboard
I am glad I bought this keyboard pedal. I give it an overall rating of 5 stars, but 4 stars for value for money. The pedal is very sturdy. Feels very solid and heavy. The pedal action is great. The pedal does not wobble or shift when being used. Very easy installation. Just plug in the cable from the pedal to the Roland Keyboard. As far as value goes, it is a good value, but I am not sure it is a great value. I am happy with my purchase. I can't speak to how this pedal compares to other pedals that are at a lower price point, as this is the only pedal I have. I don't feel I got a bad deal buying this pedal. So, I gave it 4 stars for value. I would have given it 5 stars for value if this pedal wasn't over double the price of other pedals that were also getting good reviews. I bought it because it is a Roland Pedal and I have a Roland Keyboard.

Great
Works perfectly with Roland synthesiser. A rubber pad is a very neat condition, the pedal never slips away. Very smooth and gradual with a good range of motion.

Nice pedal!
This was a great upgrade from the pedal that came with my Roland keyboard. This pedal stays in place and has the same feel of a real piano. Very pleased!

Well made!
OK, so I was being cheap, but I thought the clicker pedal that I had with my piano was sufficient. I got an Amazon gift card that brought the price down so I bought this.. rule of thumb. You should always buy the brand pedal for your brand piano. I did that.. two ,this pedal has an amazing feel to it.im no expert but it has spring tension too it feels insane and more enjoyable when playing. It does say somewhere in a description real feel, but I've never played a giant piano...... when learning piano, you should always be inspired to use a sustain pedal to sound better.the cheap on / off original clicker type wasn't doing it for me. Not trying to sell somebodys product but this pedal definitely was a game changer for me.... I have the real feel keys on the piano the adjustable bench and now the real feel sustained pedal. This bitch is my new massage chair.

Much better than what came with my new FP-30X
The sustain pedal that came with my new digital piano is junk. It is only binary, on or off, no partial or half sustain, and moves around on hard floors. I bought a Yamaha pedal at a local music store and it worked backwards, no polarity switch to test. My piano tech couldn’t get it to work properly either, so I returned it and got this one.In normal play it works great, I can even diminish sustain then add a little more on continuous mode switch selection. I haven’t tested all the voices, but when in harpsichord, upon release, I’m getting a light thud, not in modern piano modes. I will test the others later. When on harpsichord it is binary, maybe true to the instrument, probably not the pedal, but the instrument software. Feature or fault, I do not know, but it is repeatable. The pedal feel, action, staying in place is great. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of what I heard on the pedal release on Harpsichord and no obvious polarity switch. The fade on 1/2 or even partial pedal is top notch for this piano. I do not know about others.I’m used to acoustic pianos, so pedal function is important. Partial, full and even partial to full let off are important. My 2 cents.

Not cheap, but super solid and easy to use
I bought these for a Roland FP 10, and it works perfectly. I considered a cheaper 3rd party one, but decided on this due to reviews commenting on the solid construction. This is miles better than the junk that shipped with the keyboard and I don't even think about how I'm using it. There is a nice rubber matt on the bottom that stops it from sliding around my hardwood floors too.I considered the three pedal option, but I don't think I'll use the damper (yay headphones!), I'm not sure what my auto sheet music page turning might be yet, and that one is 3x as much.

top quality product, costs more but worth it.
This is a perfect example of getting what you pay for. I had tried several of the cheaper pedals in the past because I didn't want to go with the higher price of the Roland, but they were just a waste of money. The Roland is a far superior sustain pedal, with a full normal size and feel. It also has this really efficient rubber non-slip pad where your heel sits on the pad itself and prevents it from sliding away. This is the good stuff -- five stars.
