Noir Patchouli should be called Grandma 1952
I first smelled this in the Histories de Parfums sample book along with many others. While this was not my favorite of the samples I did like it and used it to layer with some other patchouli scent i have and it melded well. I saw this on sale for just under $100 on here so because I knew this company makes high quality scents I went for it knowing the price of this was almost double what I'd pay from Sephora or another reputable outlet.CUT TO THE CHASE! This can be found on your grandmothers perfume rack of scents that havent been touched in decades. It smells like a old womans perfume and when compared side by side with the sample booklets Noir Patchouli it smells A LOT stronger, very pungent and not very alluring on its own, but I am thinking because when you spray it much MORE is dispensed from this bottle then the tester viles just because of the size and sprayer. USE THIS IN MODERATION in smalllllll doses lol IF AT ALL lolIn end it was a big mistake to buy this. I love other scents from them, but this needs to be sprayed and walked into and nothing direct I dont think its spoiled or fake I just think its application is the most important thing and probably to use the small travel atomizer it comes with (which I havent done and might not) but I am thinking thats the best way to apply this unless you REALLY like this and smelled it before almost every other scent in this houses line smells better.
