REMOVE FUEL FILTER FROM INSIDE AIR FILTER, LOL.
This package is of high quality at least equal to OEM. I was only interested in changing the air filters and forgot the fuel filter was part of the purchase. MY BAD. Mower ran great for about 2 minutes at idle and when I started cutting the grass, it sputtered and smelled like gas. I actually removed the filters with the engine running and it didn't change. I checked spark plugs, eventually changing both of them also. No difference. Carburetor check next. I disconnected the air intake hose on the top AND WOW. A large plastic bag with the fuel filter in it was on top of the butterfly valve. Of course laughter erupted, followed by a feeling of complete stupidity. I changed the fuel filter too. Reassembled everything and cut my grass with a perfect running mower.

Remove the wrapper.
I installed this filter on my Gravely mower and it fit perfectly. However. I accidentally left some of the wrapper and it got sucked down into the carburetor Really caused a problem. Not the filter fault but-It was mine. Had to have the wrapper piece removed
