Works Splendidly for a Raspberry Pi 5.
I bought this exclusively to use with a Raspberry Pi 5 and it works with absolutely no issues. Just make sure that you have a regular male to male HDMI cord to plug into this and into whatever you want to use for your monitor or TV. The only issue I had was some purple lines when using it with a TV but I think it was more of a software issue rather than a problem with the adapter. It's worked fine since I changed to a monitor. So I am going to recommend this adapter, especially if you're going to use it with a monitor. So it's a good price, if you need to actually be able to see what you're doing on your pie instead of connecting remotely through VNC SSH I would recommend it.

micro HDMI adapter
Got this adapter to use with my pi 5 project and wanted to hook up the pi to my 50" TV screen. The adapter is well made and feel quite study. The micro ports snaps into the pi board without any issues and I plugged the other end to a HDMI cable and everything works. The picture quality is great, it's sharp and clear. For the price it's a great deal and the look and fit when I use double side table to hold the adapter to the pi case. So far so good there's no artifacts or snow when using this adapter to a unknown brand HDMI Cable.

Works perfectly to connect a Raspberry Pi 5 to a HDMI monitor.
I use this device to connect a monitor to a Raspberry Pi 5 computer. The PI only has HDMI Micro, the monitor full size HDMI. This works like perfectly. A standard HDMI cable plugs into the monitor and the adapter, and the adapter plugs into one of the computer's MicroHDMI port.
