Previously to buying this subject taper jig, I tried 4 other ones...I found issues with each of the aforementioned 4 taper jigs, i.e., proper table saw fit w/ no adjustment to remedy the problem. another had no adjustment for the t-tracks and was rather cumbersome and I deemed it over-priced, as well as how I felt about the others.Then, I took a chance that this subject taper jig -- with literally no reviews -- and it's lower price than the previous 4 and placed my order.When it arrived I unboxed it and found that the information sheet & instructions were printed on quality glossy paper with full details and actual color rather than on common copy paper w/ faded black print with miniscule font size & poor quality imagery.The info & instructions were/are very easy to comprehend and follow.Being that I was not expecting to be impressed with this product, I was taken in by both the printed info and now I became impressed with the overall design, i.e., the 4 different places to attach the t-track so it would be and ideal table saw fit, the ingenious mult-option clamps, which were/are a versatile, intelligent design, the 1/4-inch spaced marking spaces along both ends of the jig base that allows for quick placement of the pieces to be cut.The t-track is a very good one as it has miter retaining discs on both ends and has 5 adjustable ball plungers so that U can be sure to have an ideal fit for your jig's t-track that will create perfect cuts eack & every time.We all know that tools and procedures that allow us woodworkers to produce quality projects is paramount for our success whether we are in the business of woodworking or we are part time hobbyists. And I've always been a fan of using the best tools I can acquire without stretching or exceeding my budget and this subject taper jig checked all the boxes for me, including the price.Re. the price ... I hope that the vendor does not do what others do and that is to think more about boosting prices in order to increase profits. The slightly-under a hundred bux price I paid was/is fair and I believe that keeping it priced under the competition will 'cause' more sales and more customers as time goes on, which is how I ran my business for many years which encouraged more & more return business and more referrals.

building my first Adirondack chair and the taper for the back slats was easy & smooth. the instructions are clear & easy to assembly. I cut off the 1/2" to fit my saw as the instructions suggested. I have a Dewalt DWE 7490 & it fits good. so far very happy with this jig.

I have not used it to cut any tapers yet, but this is a very well engineered tool. I have no doubt that it will serve my needs quite well.The only issue that I noticed during assembly is that it looks like one edge had been dropped or crushed at some point, causing the particle board to split. I injected some glue and have it clamped up. This seems unlikely to impact performance, but thought it was worth noting.

It worked exactly as intended. Pay attention to the miter track size, it did not fit on my worksite saw but fit well otherwise.Instructions not even really needed for set up super simple concept, great value to get a jig without having to build it yourself

Pretty nice quality. Seems to be ok. Wish it could do thicker boards up to 5"-6". good for 1x6 stuff like that. Hope the fasteners hold up kinda afraid to tighten them to much. Would be nice to throw in an extra one in case something happens people could keep on going 😉. A bit long for standard job site saw so keep that in mind. Has side adjusters for trackbar " wish it had more adjusters and a roller at the back has one in the front. If the trackbar had more adjustments and came with another set of longer fasteners so u could do thicker boards is the reasoning for the x3 star. These things might not be imp to some people but kinda puts a damper on what I got going on but pretty nice setup.

Worked good for my fretboard angle cuts. Very pleased. Nothing budged or was sloppy or loose.

The product description talks about tapering table and chair legs, and the pictures show stock seemingly appropriate to that size... but then when you read the manual, it has listed twice that the maximum work piece size is 7/8" thick by 4 inches wide by 11 1/2" long. Unless you are building chairs for toys you're going to exceed this every time you use it. While I believe it'll be fine, it's without question false advertisement and some legal trick to sidestep any safety liability. Dirty tricks get low reviews, this information isn't mentioned anywhere before you order the jig.
