This is a really cool toy but it broke the day after we got it. It’s just pretty delicate for kids under 5. My 4 1/2 year old loved it before it broke. Also weird that the car didn’t have an off button. You have to remove the batteries to turn it off.

My oldest daughter picked this out as her present for her brother's 5th birthday. He had a few remote control cars in the past but was never able to drive them due to his age. This one he was instantly able to drive and transform by himself. Within the first day he was doing stunts! His sisters (ages 10 and 3) thought it was so cool I caught them both driving it a few times. After discovering he could launch it off our kitchen table, it ended up damaging the car. It was replaced free of charge. I could not be happier with this seller, and my 5 year old has his first car that he can drive himself! Wish it came in some other colors because now the girls want their own. My only improvement to the product I could suggest is to make an off and on switch on the car. Otherwise 100% perfect!

I ordered two of these - the first one came today. The delivery included the Transformer Car and a walkie-talkie - both items were packaged together in a bag rather than in a box. The Transformer's box had a big gash in it - I think something heavier must have been put on top of the bag and the smaller, sturdier walkie-talkie box must have gotten crushed into the Transformer box.It is a Christmas gift, which I really didn't want to open, but I did because I was afraid it was broken. The inner packaging is crushed, but the car seems to be okay. Although it is definitely not a sturdy toy. Also, the remote controller says "On" and "Off", but there is no corresponding button - I don't know if the On/Off switch broke off, or if it is supposed to be like that. Fortunately, it seems to go off automatically after a couple of minutes - otherwise the batteries will burn out quickly. I'm glad I opened it because I didn't know that it needs 5 AA batteries.I'm waiting for the second one to be delivered to see if this first one is actually damaged or not.I just went online and the car is now $3.00 less than it was yesterday - annoying!
