Grippy and Fast
I have been an MTB enthusiast since the early 80’s and have used lots of different brands off MTB tires, including the high dollar name brands. I thought I would give these a try and I am blown away with the performance of these tires. If you ride fast on technical trails or just ride mild trails, I highly recommend these tires.

Amazing Tires!
Best tires on the Market! I absolutely love these tires. They do everything I asked of them and then some they fit perfectly. They’re easy to install and the grip is unbelievable way better than the other brand that I used to use and these will last 10 times longer. I’ve been riding with these for a couple months now and they haven’t given me a single problem

A little heavy, but grips excellent.
Most durable and grippy mountain bike tire out there. They are a little heavy, but they get good bite.

great mtb tires, last forever.
best trail tires you can get. i put 1k miles on a set and more, (still on bike!) you can't the price or absolute tearing these things to when riding good dirt trails ! the traction they lay down is pure and easy to climb with, they perform great in every condition. ride with confidence with continental. this casing is the lowest but it'ssure it heavy duty for a trail tire, only downside is trying to get them on!

Righteous tire at a very competitive cost
I grabbed a set of these to replace some Maxis Ikon 29s on my Marlin 7. The Ikons were carryover from the previous owner. Obviously, these are two very different tires, so it is like comparing apples to oranges. If I were using the bike on light trails only the Ikons were a great tire. They were decently lightweight for my purposes (it is a Marlin after all) and fast, BUT with the kind of trails that I typically ride, the lack of pronounced tread was killing me. I had zero confidence in the turns, and I was constantly slipping on the climbs. I looked hard at the Maxxis Minions when these caught my eye.Continental has a great product here. Right out of the very well packaged box, you could see the quality in the build. Be sure you go with the different front and rear, and double check to make sure you’re putting them on right room! I didn’t mix up front to back, but I got a little too excited and mounted one of them backwards.I had a little bit of issue getting the tires to seat properly (btw I’m still running tubes on the bike) but ultimately I got them on and, as you can see from the pictures, they look great. By the way, these are a 2.4, and they do barely squeeze in on the back, at the bottom bracket seat stay connecting point. There’s plenty of room under the front forks and on the top side of the seat stay. These tires are quite a bit heavier than the Ikon, but my initial impressions on my first quick ride, in mixed wet and dry conditions with sand, pine needles, leaves, and plenty of roots, immediately justified the purchase. Slippage on climbs is almost totally gone. Maybe once or twice I spun out a little bit on a root, but that’s just me putting too much torque down on the climb. On the downhill, I found myself much more confident and cornering much lower and tighter. I cannot say that these are better or worse than the comparable Maxxis set, but I’m looking forward to many miles of rides out of them. The bottom line is, if you’re even considering this set then you’re looking for a decently aggressive tire that is comparable to other top name brands on the market. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Aggressive tread.
Looks good. Grips good. I had them installed at the bike shop for free so I don’t know if they had and issues putting them on but they didn’t say anything about it. I only have 100 or so miles on them, a mix of off road and on road riding but I like them so far. Better than the Maxxis it came with. I got one for the front and one for the rear. Same price but slightly different tread design.

Very impressed
This tire has a lot going for it. Fantastic front tire for cornering and easily better than the maxxis that I usually run. Does not wear as fast as maxxis and looks nice. Hard to beat for the price.

Goodbye Maxxis
These tires are wayy better than the last three Maxxis tires I've used. And a better price too.
