Has worked flawlessly in our office for the past three months. The magnet isn't exactly where the arrows are on the sensor, you have to find those by trial and error prior to installation. That is where I believe some of the bad reviews would stem from, intermittent contact to the magnets because the magnets aren't lined up when installed. There are limited options for the chime, but the "Westminster Abbey" chime is fine. Distance between sensor and annunciator is about 25 feet (through two walls and an old bank vault in between).

I use the two sensors to chime when one of my two outside gates are opened. I use a one "ding" sound for these two sensors. I set up the door bell to have a "ding-dong" sound so I can differentiate between the doorbell and the gate sensors. Setup was easy. Unlike some other reviews, there was no distance issues. I think the furthest sensor is 50 feet from the main receiver.

Bought this to install one on front door and the other on the back door. The front door works fine every time, the back door works once every twenty times! The front door has about 30ft between the sensor and chimer, the back is about 50ft away. Unfortunately we do not have a plug socket 40ft from each sensor!!

Works really well as in our office. We have a back door and a front door so it is nice to know which door someone is entering. However, you must line them up correctly or they will not work properly. I have to disagree with some of the other reviews that say it does not have the rage. I have one unit on a back door and it is at least 25 feet away. The other unit is about the same distance.I use the chimes so I know who is at which door and they work very well. The instructions are clear on how to set the chimes and I have had it over six months with no problems.

The range on this is only about 20 feet. This defeats the entire purpose of a wireless door annunciation product when the transmitter and receiver have to be nearly side by side to work. I want to be alerted in my bedroom at one end of my average size three bedroom house whenever someone enters from the garage area. It is about 50 ft distance with 2 sheetrock walls between. The door would never alert with the receiver placed in the bedroom. I moved the receiver to a location in the hallway about 30 feet from the entry door transmitter with only one wall between them. It would alert about 40% of the time - certainly not helpful!I thought maybe the battery that came with the transmitter might be weak, so I spent $4 on another of these special batteries. It did not help.I finally moved the receiver to the family room directly in sight of the transmitter. Yep, it works - except that I cannot hear it back in the bedroom which was the whole purpose of the purchase.In conclusion, I could only recommend this product if you live in a small studio or one bedroom apartment.

PIECE OF JUNK!!! I have now purchased 2 of these. The 1st one kept burning through the 23A batteries within a day or two - very expensive! I wrote the company and they were going to send a replacement and they sent a security light to me instead of the door chime - What the?I went ahead on faith and purchased a 2nd unit and it to stopped working after about the 1st week. Not the battery issue this time but just the sensors stopped sensing correctly!!!! This is a bad bad bad bad faulty product.

We bought this for our office and it works great. I like that you can change the tone for different doors.
