Q: How long does one application last

i first applied it in 1996, then renewed it every year until 1999 and then stopped. The brickwork in question started to absorb water again over the last xmas period . so i have just renewed it, after 14 years.

Q: Does the paint go on clear

It goes on clear like water, and it soaks into the brickwork to make it watertight, I gave it 2 coats.

Q: Can this be applied on to painted outside walls or can it be painted over after applying?

I have painted over it with success on the external house walls but was applied to re render only

Q: Can i use this on brick wall to seal and then paint over the top?

I have used this on external brick and there is no residue once the water seal has dried. Check the RONSEAL website, but I see no reason why you should not paint over the 'sealed' brickwork.

Used this a few times now, i have a electric spray spray gun, this product sprays beautifully and does the job whatever you are doing in half the time, and as its water based you fill the container up and spray water to clean the jets!

This is a super waterproofing product and I would have no hesitation in recommending it highly. It is clear coloured so you do not lose the colour of your wood, etc.
