I had it togerher in 15-20 minutes. The directions were VERY clear! The Allen wrench and other wrench they included in the package worked really well and no other tools were needed to build the frame! Pro tip: just have the bolts LOOSELY in place. Then you put in the center piece, put the bed generally where you want it to go. (It was for a bed at our cottage.) Then tighten up each corner of bolts. Slide the slats into their slots and you are done! It is very sturdy and plenty of room to store items underneath.I would totally try this again if I needed a inexpensive twin bed frame.
