These Cat7 cables have become my go-to. Setting up the network in my new home, I've purchased four of these 5-packs. I love the color-coding so I know what plug goes to what when running ethernet through the walls. That said, the cables themselves are still black so they don't draw attention to themselves in the same way solid-color cables do. 5ft also seems to be about the perfect length for most applications - the standard 6ft cables usually seem to be longer than necessary. Everything I'm working with is either 25ft or longer, and if a shorter cable is needed these fit the bill perfectly.In all 20 of these cables that I'm using I have had zero issues of any kind. They make a solid connection, are able to handle abuse as I push them two-deep under my baseboards, and are generally speaking the best Cat cables I've ever used.

I went from Cat 5 cables to Cat 8 and the difference is very noticeable. My PlayStation 5 runs significantly smoother compared to wifi and connection lag is zero. My Vizio tv has an Ethernet cable as well and works great. Movies/shows/apps load much faster. I definitely recommend these cables. My speed of internet is approximately 500mb/s with Spectrum internet services. My ps5 speed with cat 5 cable was 180-220mb/s.. once I plugged the cat8 cable my speeds were very close to my 500 mb/s. Hitting about 480mb/s on my ps5 console. Overall, I truly recommend these Ethernet cables. Easy to install plugs and still going strong.

Good cables work well and are good quality.

Pros:–A little pricier than competitors but I wanted the multi-color connectors, CAT7, flat, 3 feet–Enjoying the multi-color connectors, helps identify hardware connections in a tight home entertainment configuration with a multitude of cables. Personal preference, but glad I bought multi-color connectors with black cable versus matching clip/cable colors.–These have a snug fit in RJ45 ports on devices, especially the FIOS router, don’t seem to have much play once plugged in which is good, so far release clips seem to be solid–Cable length is as advertised, mine measure 36-1/2 inches tip-to-tip–Metal collars make handling easier during insertion/removal, solid plastic clips feel cheap and vulnerableOther thoughts:Using these to replace other CAT7 cables I bought because those have a heavier gauge wire, signal transmission was good but the connections were junk. Don’t typically move ethernet cables around much but every time I touched the 8-port switch, would loose signal from router to switch, had to unplug cable and replug to seat it, connectors weren’t staying seated inside the port.Time will tell how well these perform, but for now, all seems good. Only on day two of use.Using with FIOS router to TrendNet 8-port 4K switch then to Sony UBP-X800 blu-ray, Onyko AV receiver, Roku Premiere+, LG 4KUHD TV

I’m a bit of a purist when it comes to my devices using an internet connection. While wireless internet is nice, you can’t beat a solid cable with a solid connection. Great speeds for my OLED Nintendo Switch and my PS5. I’m content with the speed it gives my PC as well. Just make sure you’re on a good internet service that’s better than DSL and make sure your router is good enough.
