I do a significant amount of driving (>2k miles per month) in a vehicle that is roomy and comfortable, but does not have a enough front console space to place my phone while driving. As such, my phone was constantly slipping between the seats, falling onto the floor, or being relegated to laying on the passenger seat...basically any area in my vehicle where I'd be forced to reach down/over/under to pick it up and risk having an accident. While I'm [mostly] prevented from texting while driving due to my vehicle having Apple CarPlay, there are still times when it's necessary for me to FaceTime with others while driving. And seeing as operating a 2-ton death machine while holding & looking at a phone in my hand is blatantly unsafe (and illegal in my state), I figured it was time to remedy that problem.A few months before buying this phone mount, I had been using a cheaper magnetic phone mount I'd purchased from the TikTok shop for $4.99...which itself should have been my first clue that it would end up being a bust. Needless to say, the cheap mount never really did the job from the moment I installed it, so where did I end up...Amazon of course! Only this time, I searched for a mount that I could place on my windshield close to my rearview mirror. I also searched for a mount that easy to install/uninstall, contained a super strong magnet, rotated easily, and would resist heat during insanely hot Texas summers. With this strong and versatile phone mount, I found all of those features.Most importantly of all, this mount has fixed the safety problem of holding my phone while driving, as I am now able to keep my eyes on the road while only turning them slightly to look at my screen when necessary. Plus, the magnet is VERY strong and latches on to my phone with a death grip no matter how bumpy a road is or how fast I turn a corner (not that I'm guilty of doing that, haha!).

Highly recommend! This was worth the price! What makes this Mag-Safe phone mount worth the purchase is that it has the suction as added reinforcement. I previously purchased another mag-safe phone mount that only had the sticky surface and without any suction. Therefore, I had to return that phone mount because it would not adhere to my dashboard and stay on permanently. But this mag-safe phone mount did exactly what I need. The size is appropriate and it allows for length adjustment as well as angle adjustment. It allows for easy rotation and securely keeps my phone in place while driving. This phone mount works on the windshield, but I use mine on the dashboard preferrably in case I ever need to replace my windshield. If you are looking for a reliable mag-safe phone mount for your mag-safe phone, go with this one! You won't regret it.

I’m an Uber driver and the previous two years I had bought mounts that broke.The strength of the magnet causes the screw behind the magnet to fracture. (many of the mounts available, especially the cheaper brands are designed with the function of the bolt behind the magnet). I tried two separate brands recently and it happened to both, but not immediately. After some research, I bought this brand. Instead of having a bolt that screws on to tighten the magnet, it comes fastened to the entire mount in a more secure manner. I have waited a while to give this review because I wanted to test it. This is the best option have found. Over several years I bought mounts from Amazon and some from various stores. I have purchased at least six altogether. I’d say the quality here is good. The magnet is strong, but not overly powerful to cause damage. It attaches to your dashboard or window with an extension that is decent. The suction cup does not leave residue, but it attaches to glass with ease. But please note! (Attaching to glass provides more stability than attaching to a dashboard). If you intend to attach it to your dashboard, the chances are greater that it will require adhesive with time. Regarding the phone: I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and there is no problem. It attaches regardless of the iPhone 16 Pro Max and its weight.Now, if you don’t like this option, there is only one other option that I have found works, but it isn’t pleasant. You can buy a magnet to attach to your phone case and then attach it to a powerful magnet you can buy specifically for a the magnet. In recent times, the magnets for the phone case have become smaller and less cumbersome. But it requires carrying around some extra weight, some extra bulk, and it tarnishes the phones appealing look. And what if you change, phones or cases? The magnet, attached to the phone case, is secured by incredibly powerful glue and transferring it to another phone while possible, leaves a mess and attaches less securely on additional cases. Also note, the type of case you have will affect the adhesion.These are my recommendations.

This mount is great! The sticky pad / suction combo holds on the dash like a champ. Once I set the arm the way I wanted, and tightened the adjustment screws down, it has not moved. The magnets are nice and strong. My phone has never fallen off. I didn't even use the provided metal ring, because I already had a rectangular metal piece on the back of my phone case, from my previous mount (got a different vehicle, and I wanted a different mount, for better placement/fit).
