This is a great piece of kit!! I suffer with hand pain, and some nights I really struggle to hold my kindle. I bought this, even though my partner thought it would be a waste of money, and it's wonderful. Even he is impressed with it. So sturdy, easy to use, and can go low enough for me to 'cosy' down into bed, and have the kindle right infront of me. Such great value for money. It has a heavy stand, so it won't knock over easily, but light enough to move away, when it's not needed. It's fab!

Absolutely fantastic bit of kit. Exactly what I needed and for the price of it was so pleasantly surprised at how well made and sturdy it is. Can’t recommend enough!

I was initially pleased with this. I used it with a tablet which means I had to add weight to the base but that was fine. Recently the stand started to struggle to hold the tablet up. I had to keep pushing it back up to the right height. Now it has completely snapped / sheared off as shown in attached the photos. The metal is quite thin at that point. So now it is fit for the bin after only 6 months. Very disappointedEDIT August 2024 - the seller contacted me to offer a replacement as they "have improved the product". I accepted. It does look like the stand has been improved so it does not pivot at the point where mine broke. I have changed my rating to 4 stars due to good customer service and the fix.

Packaged very well, everything laid out nice, clear concise instructions a bonus extended guarantee. Awesome stuff. Super easy to put together, the arm is nice and stiff, the swivel head is solid steel, with a nice heavy base plate. Impressive quality for such a great price. Would highly recommend to everyone

Goes together easily and at first glance seems very sturdy - works well with an iPhone but unfortunately it was purchased to use with a tablet and for that purpose is unsuitable. The arm droops even when tightened as much as possible. Should maybe be listed as a phone stand rather than tablet stand. Will be returning immediately.

Very stable, can easily use touch screen, device is very secure and easy to tilt/swivel. I use it next to bed... helps me maintain better resting position. Raising device higher also helps with my hearing impairment.Didn't want a TV in bedroom but stream programmes at night from tablet ... stand makes such a difference. Love it!

The unit is unfit for purpose. The ball bracket does not support the weight of an iPad so constantly droops down. If you move the iPad towards you it moves out of its centre of gravity and will fall over. There is nothing you can do except put a large weight on the pedestal. It’s a huge design fault in something so simple….it has one job….to stand up and it can’t do that. AVOID.

I use this for holding my ipad (mini) when reading books, it's great AND we now use it on my big ipad when having Facetime conversations with our friends in France...which tend to go on a bit as the wine goes steadily down!Every home should have one...and a very good price too.
