I'm changing over to low wattage USB outdoor Christmas lights, powered by old 5 amp phone chargers on plug-in timer switches, inside my 2 outdoor light boxes. So I purchased 2 of these inexpensive 4 port hubs to do the job connecting them together stuck down inside with Velcro tape... Works perfectly, easily and cheaply replaced if need be.

Does the job and built like a tank! Lead could be a tad longer maybe?

1. You take the tape that comes with it and the glue residue of the tape stays on the hub.2. It actually feels cheap.3. It didn't work at all for me! The light turned blue but I tried several times with different USBs and nothing happened!

Brought for office desk as have multiple wired devices needed at the same time. Keeps wires tidy nice small on desk too

Pro's - Cheap, Cheerful And Works Con's - Lead was stuck to it with sticky tape, Which, so far has defeated all efforts to De-Stick it, and for some reason, has a Blue light that can probably be seen from the moon !

This is a good budget USB hub with a super bright blue light which comes on when plugged in. The cable is a decent length at about 11". My only criticism is that it seems to disconnect when my laptop goes to sleep and I have to physically disconnect and reconnect it to use my devices. However, for the price (currently £4.59) it's not too much of an issue.

I needed a usb hub for my media player that had only 2 usb 2.0 ports. One port was permanently busy with a usb-stick with CoreElec, and another was free to use to attach any kind of device. As long as the current for usb 2.0 is rather low (around 500 mA), I was worried about the amount of devices I'll be able to switch on without external power.Well, this hub was perfect for my needs: I could attach a 2.5 inch HDD together with 3 usb sticks and they all worked fine. You will say that it's normal and I will agree, but, however, the Chinese managed to make so many devices where you can't attach even one!!! 2.5 inch HDD together with 1 usb stick, that I was really happy that it worked.The only clear downside for me was a stupid blue light: the hub stays above my TV in my rather small bedroom and I had to cover the light with insulating tape in order to be able to sleep.
