The media could not be loaded. I have 4 out of 5 because I wished the numbers were a little darker when they are all together it's hard to see the numbers. But the wool balls are great and the board quality is amazing I'm impressed it's smooth and finished I thought it would be rough but this is going to help with math lessons for sure.

I bought this as a gift for my 4 year old nephew for his birthday. I knew my sister is obsessed with montessori method of teaching so I thought this would be a great gift for her and her son. Well, its been over a week of him now playing and he seems to really enjoy it and so does my sister. The board is very high quality and has a great finish to it. Great montessori gift above all.

Tiles were dirty. Insect carcass embedded on tile was pretty gross.

Beautiful high quality learning toy. Everything is so well made. The board itself is smooth and sturdy, the tiles have no rough edges and the felt spheres are a lot more tactility interesting than the traditional wood ones. They also are not loud when they fall on the floor which is great and they do not roll nearly as far as a wood one. The colors are so lovely and the whole board itself is the perfect size. It even came with "greater than , less than" symbols for advancing math practice. This hands on activity is such a great learning tool and fun and engaging for both adult and child.

This "game" is AMAZING!!!! My step son loves playing with it. I highly recommend this kids learning addition, subtraction, greater/less than and equal to. My son found this to be fun and of course it gave us some one on one time and still learning. everything is wooden except for the little counting balls. definitely will last if you keep up with the pieces. I have 2 toddler and I plan to keep and use this with them also in the years coming.

This concept is so cute and I feel with some adjustments it could be so much better! I’ll talk about what I like first and then talk about what I think could be improved. I love how this helps visualize numbers and make some math concepts a little more concrete. The wood is beautiful, the pieces are really nice. Nothing feels rough and is the perfect size for little hands. The little felt balls are fun, I love the variety of colors and they’re a great size. I like that there is a spot for the little number tiles to go on the one side and little indents for the felt balls. The bag is nice for storage and is big enough to fit all the little pieces nicely. Also the fact that they utilities both sides is really fun!Ok here’s where I think it could use some help…First because of the size of the board I think that this board should stick with smaller numbers. It goes all the way up to 20 and I kind of understand since 9 + 10 = 19 but it makes things a little tricky. Fitting the felt balls when you start to get to larger quantities gets to be tricky this is mostly a problem on the side with the addition and subtraction symbols actually engraved into the board.Second they only have one of each number. What happens when your child does 4-2? Do you not use a number for the sum?Lastly as cool as the double side is I think really only the side with the felt ball indents is necessary and easily usable. The opposite side can’t hold balls very well the max that fits with a number is 5 unless you stack them which is a bit tricky. And everything you do on that side can be done on the other side. Maybe the other side could just be a counting side? You have all the felt divots and one spot for a number so kids can practice seeing just the numbers and balls together without all the math symbols and another number involved.Overall its very cute and I think my kids will still have fun with it.
