Q: What's the difference between these and Alva baby inserts?

Alva inserts are made out of microfiber only. These inserts have an outter layer of bamboo and microfiber inside. These are safe to place directly against baby's skin.

Q: I've been using Nora's Nursery diapers and pads since my son was born and he's almost two now 🥲 When should the pads be replaced?

Unless he’s peeing through Them or they’re falling apart they don’t need to be replaced. However if he’s peeing through them, you can double them with another insert or (even better) a natural fiber like cotton or hemp (hemp is a slow absorber and must be paired with something like cotton or microfiber). My favorite is wrapping the inserts in a prefold or flour sack towel

Q: Would these fit in a newborn cloth pocket diaper?

Not without sticking up the back. From personal use I would say the start closer tip a size 1. Unless you have a big baby! They fit my daughter once she got to 9-10 pounds.

Q: Are the inserts flushable?

No, these are cloth inserts. They are meant to be washed and reused. G diapers and a few other companies make flushable inserts.
