It is kinda ok, it makes a noise, it entertains them to no end, but it is really a horrible sound.It is not very clear what is happening and why so not as much of a learning experience as I had hoped. It is also super obnoxious. If you stop playing with it for a while, rather than staying quiet - it insists on being noticed and draws the kids attention back to it. Im not a fan Im afraid. I ended up ordering some wooden musical instruments for about the same money and they are much better for the kids.If it matters, I am a novice musician so the tone of musical instruments and whether they are in tune or not, matters to me.

The media could not be loaded.  What a lovely idea, comes with drumsticks. There are 6 different 'instruments' to choose from, you can play a tune and play it back. It also plays tunes. Easy to clean highly recommended

She has spent hours pressing it, running across it and hitting it with the drumsticks.It needs 3 AA batteries for the sounds to work and also requires a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment, neither of which are included.Once working it's fairly simple to produce any kind of noise from it and older children can play ok music on it. There's a fun record and playback feature too
