This products does help a lot with heat. Keeps the body. Would have liked it to be a bit long. Would make it easier to wrap.

Product arrived well packaged and contained a set of 4 cooling towels (2 gray, 2 blue), 4 plastic/waterproof carrying bags, each with its own carabiner, and an illustrated instruction/information sheet.As per the instruction sheet, I did machine wash all 4 towels in cold water and dried in the dryer on low prior to using.  Directions say to completely soak (not in hot water), wring the water out, then snap it (by pulling out on the ends a few times) and you're all set to wear it as you like (the included sheet shows other ways of wearing it besides the traditional method of wearing around your neck).Each towel measures 40x12 which is quite long and versatile enough to be able to wear or wrap in different ways to provide your desired cooling preferences.  Even wet, these towels are not heavy--they feel lightweight and not like you're wearing a wet towel around your neck.  Our shirts have not been saturated after we take the towels off from around our neck, which is terrific!We have only used ours mainly by wearing around our necks so far, and simply around the house as we do errands, so nothing too strenuous yet.  We do not live in an intensively hot climate, but it can get hot and sometimes humid.It's weird because none of the 4 towels have provided any of us with a coolness for the advertised time of 3 hours.  We have had to remove it from our necks, give it a few snaps and then it'll provide maybe another 20-30 minutes of a cooling effect, but then you have to repeat the process for more relief.  Then after awhile, we need to resoak, wring and snap again to "refresh" it if we want to continue experiencing the temporary cooling effect.I love the concept of the provided plastic, waterproof carrying bags complete with a carabiner clip on each one!  We haven't used them yet, but I can see the practicality of soaking it and wringing it and packing in the bag, then clipping it to your jeans when going for a walk or bike ride or clipping it to a gym/duffle bag when going to work out.  That way it shouldn't make other items wet and will stay fresh until you need it. I anticipate using these more when we take walks, while exercising (even using towel to wipe and remove sweat from face), mowing the lawn, or simply to just sit, relax and cool down during those pesky hot flashes, lol. I'm also thinking they may be beneficial during long, hot car rides, long walks around amusement parks or outdoor tours or even while sleeping if there is no air conditioning.

I set it up as per instructions and it does a great job at keeping me comfortable in the heat while walking. The coolness effect last for hours.

Easy to wash, which I like best. Good Quality material and perfect size. They just don't stay cool very long. Not long at all. Not like my old Frog Toggs. But it's nice to be able to throw these in the wash, and they don't get all moldy or fade like the Frog Toggs did. Better for you and easy to transport.

These cooling towels were light weight, and kept my neck cool during very hot temperatures in Florida. I re-wet them in water fountains or restrooms. They were lighter weight than a neck fan I had used previously.

I've never heard of or used a cooling towel before, so I was very excited about this. Especially living in humid Florida and weather reaching the high 90s to low 100s.The package had instructions to wash the towels before use in cold water and I wasn't sure if I could put the towels in the dryer, so I left them to air dry. The towels felt very soft to the touch and I find the material is slightly water-resistant. When I first tried to splash water on the towel, the water would almost slide off the towel. So it did take more than a few seconds for the towel to actually soak the water. The instruction said once the towel is wet, to shake off excess and it's ready to go. Since the towel is very long, I would either wrap it around my wrist or even use it as a hair tie/wrap for my hair during my workout.I did find it was cooling, but I am slightly disappointed in the cooling effect because it only feels cool for maybe 10 seconds before it just kinda fades away. It's still cool, but not as great as the initial contact. I am not sure of the typical time it takes for the cooling effect to fade off for a regular cooling towel, but I find a wetting a similar towel will do the same as this cooling towel. I did experiment a little with using cold water, but it has a very similar effect with being cool immediately and then fading. I find freezing a water bottle and wrapping the towel around it helps in keeping the coolness longer, but still nothing too significant. However, when you are sweating from the humidity or an intense workout, it does make you feel better in a jiffy.Each towel came with a plastic carrying case with a carabiner clip to hang it on your bag, which I would be using to hang on my bookbag and workout bag. I'm not sure if the carrying case is waterproof or not, but it was able to protect the towel from the occasional drizzle and heavy rain.Overall, I find these towels very decent for a first try.

Get overheated easily when its hot, these towels worked great

Purchased this pack of 4 for our family. Very effective in cooling down. We’ve used them while working outside in the yard, on the boat and my son uses to cool down during Volleyball sets. I love that each has its own pkg to travel.
